Tips
Everything you need before kickoff, in one place: form, team news, head-to-head records and our reasoned pick for every match.
Running from June 11 to July 19, the 2026 World Cup is by far the biggest edition of the tournament to date, with three host nations in USA, Canada and Mexico, an expanded field of 48 teams and a packed schedule of 104 games running from the group stage through to the final.
Keeping across every fixture takes work, so our team builds a dedicated preview for each match, covering the form both sides bring into the game, the players capable of deciding it, and where the value sits in the betting markets.
What each preview covers:
- Match preview: the context and narrative behind the fixture, recent history between the sides, and what is riding on the result.
- Form guide: results from recent matches, goals for and against, and anything else you need to know about both teams' latest games.
- Team news: the latest injuries, doubts and possible changes to both sides.
- Predicted lineups: probable starting XIs and formations for both teams, displayed in an easy-to-view graphic.
- Odds and value: a look across the betting markets to flag where the price looks worth backing.
- Our predictions: reasoned and researched tips for the match, all explained and justified rather than simply stated.
How we put a prediction together
Each preview starts with the narrative and numbers: key match context, recent form, goals scored and conceded, clean sheets, and head-to-head history where it is recent enough to be relevant.
We factor in team news, including injuries and suspensions that could change a starting XI, along with context such as home advantage and what is at stake in the group or knockout picture. Only once that groundwork is done do we turn to the markets, comparing odds to identify where a price genuinely reflects the chances of a result rather than public perception of the two teams.
We do not claim to call every result correctly, and no prediction service can. What we do offer is a clear line of reasoning behind each tip, built on the evidence in front of us rather than a hunch.
