The best PayPal betting sites in the UK are Quickbet, BetMGM and BoyleSports. We checked all 10 bookmakers on this page against their own cashiers and terms, and moved real money through PayPal at two of them.
Most UK welcome offers cannot be claimed with a PayPal deposit. This page marks the ones that can.

With the new domestic football season under way, deposit and withdrawal speed matters more than it does in June.
A withdrawal request placed during a Saturday afternoon window can sit longer than the cashier’s stated time at several of the bookmakers below, and we have marked where that happens.
Updated August 2026. PayPal deposit minimums, withdrawal times and welcome offer eligibility were re-checked on 12 August 2026. bet365’s PayPal minimum deposit was re-verified on 18 August 2026 and remains £25.
How the 10 PayPal bookmakers compare
Every bookmaker below takes PayPal for both deposits and withdrawals, and all 10 hold a live Great Britain licence.
What separates them is how quickly the money comes back, what you have to put in to start, and whether a PayPal deposit still leaves you eligible for the welcome offer.
| Bookmaker | PayPal deposits & withdrawals | Offer with PayPal deposit? | Min deposit | Withdrawal time (T/D) | Score /10 |

How we tested PayPal at each bookmaker
I hold funded accounts at BetMGM and BoyleSports, and tested a PayPal deposit and withdrawal at both between 4 and 12 August 2026.
The other eight bookmakers are documented, not tested. Every figure is read from the operator’s own cashier, FAQ or terms, with the date it was checked shown under each entry.
I tested BetMGM on 7 August 2026, having claimed the welcome offer with a PayPal deposit. The £10 deposit processed instantly. I requested £18.61 at 18:43 and it reached my PayPal balance at 21:31, taking 2 hours and 48 minutes.
I tested BoyleSports through the app on 5 August 2026. The £5 PayPal deposit went through instantly. I requested £11.28 at 12:57 and it arrived at 14:05, taking 1 hour and 8 minutes.
Weighting: offer works with PayPal 25%, withdrawal speed 25%, overall sportsbook 25%, limits and fees 15%, T&C clarity 10%.
How the withdrawal speed score works. The score reflects the time a punter should actually plan for, not the headline figure in the cashier.
Three bookmakers here publish the same “up to 24 hours” and score differently because of what sits behind it.
BetMGM scores 17/25 because withdrawals above its standard threshold can take a further 3 to 5 business days. William Hill scores 22/25 because its own FAQ allows a full business day, and weekend requests can roll to Monday.
Ladbrokes scores 23/25 because requests typically clear in 4 to 8 hours despite the stated maximum.
Where a tested figure and a stated figure differ, both are shown and the score is set on the stated figure, so one fast test cannot inflate a ranking.
TNT Sports earns commission from some of the bookmakers listed here. It does not affect the rankings or the scores.
| Criteria | How we tested |
|---|---|
| Offer works with PayPal (25%) | Full offer terms read, not the headline |
| Withdrawal speed (25%) | Stated time, plus two real timed withdrawals |
| Overall sportsbook (25%) | Markets, odds, app and customer support |
| Limits and fees (15%) | PayPal minimums, maximums and any fee |
| T&C clarity (10%) | Whether PayPal is named, or left ambiguous |
| UKGC licence | Every number checked against the UKGC register |
Reviews of the best PayPal betting sites
Each review covers the same four things: whether a PayPal deposit qualifies for the welcome offer, the deposit and withdrawal limits, how long payouts actually take, and the restriction most punters miss. Scores are out of 10, weighted using the criteria above.
1. Quickbet: Best for claiming a welcome offer with PayPal
/https%3A%2F%2Fmedia-eurosport.s3.gra.io.cloud.ovh.net%2Fbetting%2F2026%2F08%2Fquickbet-paypal-1200x750-1.webp)
Welcome offer: bet £10, get a £10 free bet. New customers only, minimum deposit £10, qualifying bet of £10 at odds of 1/1 (2.00) or greater, pre-match or live. PayPal deposits qualify. Free bet valid for 24 hours, stake not returned. Checked 18 August 2026.
Offer works with PayPal 25/25 | Withdrawal speed 25/25 | Overall sportsbook 19/25 | Limits and fees 13/15 | T&C clarity 7/10 | Total (weighted): 8.9/10
Quickbet is a newer UK bookmaker, live since February 2025, and one of only three on this list where a PayPal deposit qualifies for the welcome offer.
PayPal deposits and withdrawals both run from £10 to £2,500. The £10 minimum is also the amount that triggers the welcome offer, so there is no gap between funding the account and qualifying for the free bet.
At the time of writing the cashier lists instant PayPal withdrawals, processing in under an hour, though identity verification has to be complete before instant withdrawals are enabled.
- PayPal qualifies for the welcome offer: one of three bookmakers here where a PayPal first deposit still triggers the free bet.
- Withdrawals under an hour: the fastest stated PayPal payout on this list, once your account is verified.
- £2,500 PayPal ceiling: the lowest maximum here, against £10,000 at Ladbrokes and NetBet.
- Free bet expires in 24 hours: the shortest window on this page, where most of the rest allow 7 days.

2. BetMGM: Best for free bet value with a PayPal deposit
/https%3A%2F%2Fmedia-eurosport.s3.gra.io.cloud.ovh.net%2Fbetting%2F2026%2F08%2Fbetmgm-paypal-1200x750-1.webp)
Welcome offer: bet £10, get £40 in free bets. New customers, deposit £10 or more and place a sports bet within 7 days of registration. Paid as 4 x £10 free bets, 2 football accumulators of 4 or more selections and 2 sports multiples of 2 or more. Minimum odds apply. Excludes virtual sports, esports and non-UK or Irish horse racing. Opt-in required, free bets valid 7 days. PayPal deposits qualify. Checked 12 August 2026.

BetMGM carries the largest free bet on this page that a PayPal deposit will actually unlock, which is why it sits second despite the slowest large-withdrawal handling of the top three.
PayPal deposits run from £10 to £10,000, and withdrawals from £10 to £4,000.
The stated withdrawal time is up to 24 hours, and larger withdrawals can be held a further 3 to 5 business days.
My own test withdrawal of £18.61 on Friday 7 August 2026 was submitted at 18:43 and reached my PayPal balance at 21:31: 2 hours and 48 minutes.
That is one small withdrawal on one evening, and not a promise about yours.
The detail most punters miss: if BetMGM asks you for a validation check, the PayPal mobile app will not display the page you need to send them. You have to log into PayPal through a browser to get it.
BetMGM UK runs independently of its US business, with its own limits and processing rules, and is one of the best UK betting sites for free bet value.
- £40 in free bets with PayPal: the largest PayPal-eligible welcome offer of the 10 checked.
- £10,000 PayPal deposit ceiling: joint highest on this page, and four times what Quickbet or Coral will take.
- Large withdrawals held 3 to 5 business days: the stated 24 hours does not apply above the standard threshold.
- Validation check needs a desktop browser: the PayPal app will not show the page BetMGM asks for.

PayPal will not unlock the BoyleSports welcome offer, but at £5 it takes the lowest PayPal deposit on this list and the highest ceiling, at £10,000.
BoyleSports states that PayPal withdrawals process within 6 hours.
My test on 5 August 2026, through the app, was a £11.28 withdrawal submitted at 12:57 that arrived at 14:05: 1 hour and 8 minutes. Again, one withdrawal on one afternoon.
The minimum withdrawal is £10, in line with the rest of the list. The £5 minimum deposit is where BoyleSports separates itself, and deposits are instant.
It applies its closed-loop policy strictly, so plan to withdraw back to PayPal if you deposited with it.
- £5 minimum PayPal deposit: the lowest here, against £10 at seven of the 10 and £25 at bet365.
- £10,000 PayPal ceiling: joint highest with Ladbrokes and NetBet.
- PayPal excluded from the £40 offer: deposit by debit card first if the free bet is the point.
- Closed loop enforced strictly: funds deposited by PayPal come back to PayPal, with no exceptions in the terms.

4. Coral: Best for instant PayPal deposits
Welcome offer: bet £5, get £30 in free bets. New UK and Republic of Ireland customers, minimum first bet of £5 within 14 days of registration at minimum odds of 1/2, paid as 6 x £5 free bets on selected sportsbook markets, valid 7 days, stakes not returned. Certain deposit methods are excluded and a PayPal deposit does not qualify. Checked 12 August 2026.
Offer works with PayPal 0/25 | Withdrawal speed 23/25 | Overall sportsbook 24/25 | Limits and fees 14/15 | T&C clarity 8/10 | Total (weighted): 6.9/10
PayPal is excluded from the Coral sign-up offer, but its PayPal billing agreement makes deposits instant and the £5 minimum withdrawal is the lowest on this page.
The PayPal minimum deposit is £10 and the maximum is £2,000. The minimum withdrawal is £5, and Coral does not state a per-transaction maximum.
Withdrawals process in under 8 hours according to Coral’s own FAQ, and most clear in a few hours.
The detail most punters miss: to withdraw to PayPal you must have deposited by PayPal within the previous six months. If you have, you can withdraw to PayPal even where you funded the account by other methods since.
First-time PayPal depositors also have to complete identity verification, which can hold the deposit up.
- £5 minimum withdrawal: the lowest on this list, where seven of the 10 set £10.
- Instant deposits via billing agreement: no re-authorisation at PayPal on repeat deposits.
- Six-month PayPal deposit rule: no PayPal deposit in the last six months means no PayPal withdrawal.
- £2,000 PayPal deposit cap: a fifth of the £10,000 available at BoyleSports and Ladbrokes.

5. Ladbrokes: Best for high PayPal deposit limits
Welcome offer: bet £5, get £30 in free bets. New UK and Republic of Ireland customers, minimum first bet of £5 within 14 days of registration at minimum odds of 1/2, paid as 6 x £5 free bets on selected sportsbook markets, valid 7 days, stake not returned. Certain deposit methods are excluded and a PayPal deposit does not qualify. Checked 12 August 2026.

PayPal will not claim the Ladbrokes welcome bonus, but it takes PayPal deposits from £10 up to £10,000 a day and withdrawals typically clear in 4 to 8 hours.
Ladbrokes‘ FAQ allows up to 24 hours for a PayPal withdrawal; in practice most clear in 4 to 8. Debit card and Apple Pay deposits start at £5, but PayPal starts at £10.
Two details worth knowing. The name on your PayPal account must match the name on your Ladbrokes account.
A mismatch can get the account frozen or closed under the terms, regardless of the balance in it.
Separately, you can hold only three active payment methods in any 30-day period, excluding cash deposits and the Ladbrokes Grid card.
Ladbrokes and Coral operate under the same UKGC licence, held by LC International Limited. That is correct, not a duplication.
- £10,000 daily PayPal deposit limit: joint highest here, four times Coral’s £2,000.
- Typically 4 to 8 hours to PayPal: well inside the 24 hours the FAQ allows for.
- Three payment methods per 30 days: adding PayPal can push another method out.
- Name mismatch closes accounts: the PayPal and Ladbrokes account names have to match exactly.

6. bet365: Best for overall sportsbook quality

Welcome offer: bet £10, get £30 in free bets. New customers, minimum deposit required, free bets paid as Bet Credits released on settlement of the qualifying bet. Minimum odds, bet and payment method exclusions apply, returns exclude the Bet Credits stake. A PayPal deposit does not qualify for this offer. Time limits and T&Cs apply. Checked 12 August 2026.
Offer works with PayPal 0/25 | Withdrawal speed 24/25 | Overall sportsbook 25/25 | Limits and fees 10/15 | T&C clarity 9/10 | Total (weighted): 6.8/10
bet365 scores highest of the 10 on the sportsbook itself and lowest of the major brands on PayPal limits, because its PayPal minimum deposit is £25 where the rest of the list sits at £5 or £10.
PayPal deposits run from £25 to £5,500 and withdrawals from £10 to £5,500.
The £25 floor is a real cost if you deposit in small amounts: every other method at bet365 starts at £5, and the bet365 sign up offer excludes PayPal deposits entirely. Withdrawals process in 1 to 4 hours.
The detail most punters miss: withdrawal requests placed in peak windows, typically Saturday and Sunday afternoons, can take several hours longer than the stated range.
- PayPal withdrawals in 1 to 4 hours: among the fastest documented times on this page.
- £10 minimum withdrawal: a quarter of what you have to put in to start.
- £25 minimum PayPal deposit: the highest here, and five times bet365’s own £5 debit card minimum.
- Slower at weekend peaks: Saturday and Sunday afternoon requests can run past the 4-hour figure.

7. William Hill: Best for signing up with PayPal
/https%3A%2F%2Fmedia-eurosport.s3.gra.io.cloud.ovh.net%2Fbetting%2F2026%2F08%2Fwilliam-hill-paypal-1200x750-1.webp)
Welcome offer: bet £10, get £30 in free bets. New UK customers registering with promo code R30, first deposit of £10 or more, then a £10 single bet from the main balance at odds of 1/2 or greater on any sports market excluding virtuals. Paid as 3 x £10 free bets after settlement, valid 7 days, non-withdrawable and must be used in full. PayPal is named in the excluded deposit methods, alongside Neosurf, Paysafe, Apple Pay, NETELLER, Skrill, ecoPayz, Kalibra/Postpay and the WH PLUS Card, so a PayPal deposit does not qualify. Checked 12 August 2026.
Offer works with PayPal 0/25 | Withdrawal speed 22/25 | Overall sportsbook 22/25 | Limits and fees 13/15 | T&C clarity 9/10 | Total (weighted): 6.6/10
William Hill excludes PayPal from its welcome offer in writing, which is unusually clear, and it is the only bookmaker here that lets you open the account and attach PayPal in a single step.
Choosing ‘Join and Deposit with PayPal’ in Quick Registration sends you to PayPal to log in, then returns you to William Hill to finish signing up.
PayPal deposits and withdrawals both run from £10 to £5,500, and deposits are instant. PayPal itself cannot be funded by credit card for this, only a debit card or bank account.
William Hill‘s FAQ allows up to a business day for withdrawals, so a weekend request can land on Monday, though most clear in around 2 hours.
The detail most punters miss: linking PayPal to your William Hill account disables ‘cash at cage’, so you can no longer pay in or take out at a William Hill shop with the Plus card.
- Join and deposit with PayPal in one step: the only bookmaker of the 10 that offers this at registration.
- PayPal exclusion stated in the offer terms: named explicitly, so there is no ambiguity before you deposit.
- Linking PayPal disables cash at cage: no more shop deposits or withdrawals on the Plus card.
- Up to a full business day: a Saturday request can sit until Monday.

8. Betfair: Best for PayPal across the sportsbook
/https%3A%2F%2Fmedia-eurosport.s3.gra.io.cloud.ovh.net%2Fbetting%2F2026%2F08%2Fbetfair-paypal-1200x750-1.webp)

Only deposits by Pay by Bank, Apple Pay or debit card qualify, so a PayPal deposit does not. Checked 12 August 2026.
Offer works with PayPal 0/25 | Withdrawal speed 22/25 | Overall sportsbook 21/25 | Limits and fees 14/15 | T&C clarity 8/10 | Total (weighted): 6.5/10
PayPal will not claim the Betfair welcome offer, but it works as a payment method on the Sportsbook and on the Exchange, which no other brand on this list offers.
Deposits start at £10 and cap at £6,000; withdrawals start at £5 and cap at £5,500. Betfair‘s FAQ puts PayPal withdrawals at 4 to 24 hours.
Two Betfair-specific rules catch people out. Betfair will not accept a deposit where the money in your PayPal balance came from eBay, because anti-money laundering rules treat it as third-party funds.
And if you have ever funded that PayPal account with an American Express card, Betfair’s security checks may refuse it as a deposit method.
The Betfair Sportsbook and the Betfair Exchange run under separate UK Gambling Commission licences.
The Sportsbook is licensed to PPB Counterparty Services Limited under account 39439; the Exchange operates under a betting intermediary licence held by TSE Malta LP, account 39561.
- PayPal on Sportsbook and Exchange: the only brand of the 10 where it covers both products.
- £5 minimum withdrawal: joint lowest here with Coral.
- eBay funds refused: a PayPal balance built from eBay sales will not deposit.
- Amex history can block PayPal: ever having funded that PayPal with Amex may see the method refused.

9. NetBet: Best for fast repeat deposits

New players only, minimum £10 bet at odds of 1/1 (2.00), paid as 4 x £5 free bets: one £5 football Bet Builder, one £5 football accumulator, one £5 horse racing accumulator and one £5 tennis in-play. Valid 7 days. A PayPal deposit does not qualify for this offer. Checked 14 August 2026.

NetBet excludes PayPal from its welcome offer, but its One Touch system makes repeat PayPal deposits faster than anywhere else on this list once the first one is done.
Deposits and withdrawals both run from £10 to £10,000. NetBet‘s FAQ puts PayPal withdrawals at 1 to 5 hours.
One Touch stores the authorisation, so a repeat deposit takes seconds rather than a round trip to PayPal.
That convenience cuts both ways: it removes the pause that keeps some punters inside their own limits, so set a deposit limit before you turn it on.
The detail most punters miss: you must have deposited by PayPal at least once in the previous six months to withdraw to it.
- One Touch repeat deposits: stored authorisation, so no return trip to PayPal each time.
- £10,000 PayPal limits both ways: joint highest on this page.
- One Touch removes the friction: easier to exceed your own budget, so set a deposit limit first.
- Six-month closed loop: no PayPal deposit in six months means no PayPal withdrawal.

10. 21LuckyBet: Best for a PayPal-eligible free bet at a smaller brand
/https%3A%2F%2Fmedia-eurosport.s3.gra.io.cloud.ovh.net%2Fbetting%2F2026%2F08%2F21luckybet-paypal-1200x750-1.webp)
Welcome offer: bet £20, get a £40 free bet. New players only, minimum £20 in qualifying bets, stake not returned. The free bet is a single £40 stake at minimum odds of 1.5, stake not returned, with the winnings subject to 1x wagering and a £200 maximum conversion. Free bets and bonuses valid 7 days; a withdrawal request voids any active or pending bonus. PayPal deposits qualify. Checked 12 August 2026.
Offer works with PayPal 25/25 | Withdrawal speed 10/25 | Overall sportsbook 18/25 | Limits and fees 2/15 | T&C clarity 7/10 | Total (weighted): 6.2/10
21LuckyBet takes PayPal for its welcome offer, which is rare, but it is the only bookmaker on this page that charges you to take money out.
PayPal deposits run from £10 to £5,000 and withdrawals from £10 to £3,000.
Withdrawals carry a 1% fee capped at £3 and take 1 to 3 business days, with requests sitting at ‘pending’ for 24 to 72 hours while internal reviews complete.
That combination is why it scores 2/15 on limits and fees and 10/25 on withdrawal speed, and why it ranks last despite the PayPal-eligible offer.
21LuckyBet is a white-label brand operating under ProgressPlay Limited’s UK licence.
ProgressPlay also runs JeffBet, MogoBet and Betsuna, and only one welcome bonus can be claimed across the whole network. If you have taken a welcome offer at any of those, you cannot take this one.
- PayPal qualifies for the £40 free bet: one of three on this page, and the largest single free bet of the three.
- £10 minimum both ways: in line with the rest of the list despite being a smaller brand.
- 1% withdrawal fee, capped at £3: the only bookmaker of the 10 that charges to withdraw.
- One welcome bonus across the ProgressPlay network: claiming here rules out JeffBet, MogoBet and Betsuna.

Which welcome offers can you claim with a PayPal deposit?
This is the question the rest of the internet answers badly. Three of the 10 bookmakers here accept a PayPal first deposit for their welcome offer.
The other seven do not, and two of them, William Hill and Betfair, name the excluded methods in the terms rather than leaving you to find out at the cashier.
All terms below were read in full and checked on 12 August 2026, except NetBet on 14 August 2026 and bet365 on 18 August 2026.
| Bookmaker | PayPal qualifies? | Welcome offer | Min qualifying bet | Main catch |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Quickbet | Yes | Bet £10, get a £10 free bet | £10 | Free bet expires in 24 hours |
| BetMGM | Yes | Bet £10, get £40 in free bets | £10 | Excludes virtuals, esports, non-UK racing |
| 21LuckyBet | Yes | Bet £20, get a £40 free bet | £20 | One bonus across ProgressPlay network |
| BoyleSports | No | Bet £10, get £40 in free bets | £10 | Not available in Northern Ireland |
| Coral | No | Bet £5, get £30 in free bets | £5 | E-wallets excluded from the offer |
| Ladbrokes | No | Bet £5, get £30 in free bets | £5 | E-wallets excluded from the offer |
| bet365 | No | Bet £10, get £30 in free bets | £10 | Paid as Bet Credits, not cash |
| William Hill | No | Bet £10, get £30 in free bets | £10 | PayPal named in excluded methods |
| Betfair | No | Bet £10, get £50 in free bets | £10 | Card, Apple Pay or Pay by Bank only |
| NetBet | No | Bet £10, get £20 in free bets | £10 | Split into four £5 free bets |
Full terms for every offer sit with the coupons at the top of this page, and each bookmaker’s section below explains what the catch means in practice.
Offer terms and minimum odds are correct as of 18 August 2026 and subject to change. Always check the operator’s own terms before depositing.
To claim an offer that does not accept PayPal, deposit by debit card first and add PayPal afterwards for later deposits and withdrawals.
Check the closed-loop rules before you do: several bookmakers here return funds to the method you deposited with.
Coral and NetBet both require a PayPal deposit in the previous six months before they will pay out to PayPal.

How PayPal betting payments work in the UK
PayPal operates under tight conditions with UK bookmakers. Four things are worth knowing before you sign up.
PayPal only partners with operators licensed by the UK Gambling Commission. That is a floor, not a guarantee: check the licence number on the operator’s own footer against the UKGC public register before you deposit.
KYC verification still applies. Depositing through PayPal does not replace the identity checks the bookmaker has to run, and several of the bookmakers here will not release an instant withdrawal until verification is complete.
Withdrawals generally return to the method you deposited with. This is the closed-loop policy, and it is an anti-money laundering requirement rather than a bookmaker preference.
PayPal’s buyer protection does not cover gambling transactions. A losing bet is not a dispute, and you cannot recover a deposit through PayPal.
PayPal also runs its own responsible gambling control. Under Payment Controls in your account settings you can block all payments to betting sites, which applies across every bookmaker at once rather than one at a time.
Can you bet with PayPal Credit?
No. The UK Gambling Commission’s credit card ban covers credit funding routed through an e-wallet, so a PayPal account funded by PayPal Credit or a credit card cannot be used to deposit at a UK bookmaker.
Use a debit card or bank account as the funding source instead.
How to deposit and withdraw with PayPal
PayPal appears as a payment method in the cashier of any bookmaker that offers it.
Depositing with PayPal
- Open the bookmaker’s cashier and select Deposit
- Choose PayPal as the deposit method
- Authorise the payment by logging into PayPal
- Funds are available immediately
No card or bank account details are shared with the bookmaker at any point.
Withdrawing with PayPal
- Open the cashier and select Withdrawal
- Choose PayPal as the withdrawal method
- Enter the amount
- Submit the request
Funds normally arrive within a few hours, though the range across this list runs from under an hour at Quickbet to 3 business days at 21LuckyBet. Verification has to be complete before most bookmakers will release a PayPal withdrawal.
PayPal vs debit card, Apple Pay and other e-wallets
Debit cards almost always qualify for welcome offers, because they are what bookmakers prefer. Skrill and Neteller almost never do. PayPal sits in between and varies by bookmaker, which is what the table further up this page is for.
| Method | Typical payout speed | Qualifies for offers? | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| PayPal | 1-6 hours | Varies by bookmaker (see the table above) | No card details shared with the bookmaker |
| Debit card | 1-5 working days, or instant where offered | Almost always | The safe choice if the welcome offer matters |
| Apple Pay | 1-3 working days | Varies, check each offer | Some bookmakers take it for deposits only, some for withdrawals too |
| Skrill / Neteller | Within 24 hours | Almost never | Routinely excluded from welcome offers |
PayPal betting apps
Every bookmaker on this list supports PayPal inside its iOS and Android apps, with the same limits and processing times as the desktop cashier.
I tested a PayPal deposit and withdrawal on the BoyleSports app on 5 August 2026. The £5 deposit arrived instantly.
The £11.28 withdrawal was submitted at 12:57 and reached my PayPal balance at 14:05, taking 1 hour and 8 minutes, which matched what the desktop cashier states.
In every app here the cashier sits under the profile menu, and PayPal appears in the payment method list once the account is verified.
Where in-app behaviour differs from desktop, it is at the verification step rather than the payment.
BetMGM’s validation check needs a page the PayPal mobile app will not display, so you have to log into PayPal through a browser to complete it.
New PayPal betting sites
Quickbet is the newest bookmaker in the ranking above, live since February 2025, and it tops the list on the strength of its payment handling rather than its size.
Two more UK brands launched in 2026: RightBet and Betsuna.
We have not been able to confirm PayPal support at either from their own cashiers, so neither is ranked on this page, and neither should be treated as a PayPal bookmaker until they say so themselves.
Betsuna also runs on the ProgressPlay platform alongside JeffBet, MogoBet and 21LuckyBet, where only one welcome bonus can be claimed across the whole network.
Quickbet and RightBet both carry esports, with 177 and 180 esports markets listed respectively.
See our page on the best new betting sites for the latest UK launches.
Bookmakers that don’t accept PayPal
Several well-known UK bookmakers do not take PayPal at all. Each supports alternatives.
Sky Bet accepts debit cards, mobile wallets and Trustly. Betfred accepts Instant Banking through TrueLayer, debit cards and Apple Pay. Planet Sport Bet accepts debit cards and bank transfers.
Monopoly Sports accepts Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay and Apple Pay, but no e-wallets at all, so PayPal is not an option there either.
If the bookmaker you want does not take PayPal, a debit card is the closest substitute and, at most of these brands, the method their welcome offer is built around anyway.
PayPal betting sites we don’t recommend
Some sites that accept PayPal are not licensed in Great Britain. They operate offshore, and they are not bound by UK Gambling Commission rules.
They are not part of GamStop either, which means self-exclusion registered with GamStop will not stop you opening an account with them.
ZizoBet, VeloBet and Rolletto all fall into this group.
We do not recommend any of them. A UKGC licence is what gives you access to the complaints process, the deposit limits, the self-exclusion tools and the protection of customer funds rules.
Sites outside that system offer none of it, and there is no UK regulator to go to if something goes wrong.
Every bookmaker ranked on this page holds a live Great Britain licence, and you can check any of them yourself on the UKGC public register.
Responsible gambling at PayPal betting sites
Every bookmaker ranked on this page offers deposit limits, time-outs, reality checks and self-exclusion. Those limits apply across all payment methods, PayPal included, so a deposit limit cannot be sidestepped by switching to PayPal.
All 10 are registered with GamStop, the free national self-exclusion scheme at gamstop.co.uk. Registering with GamStop blocks your access to every UKGC-licensed operator at once, for a period you choose.
PayPal adds a second layer. Payment Controls in your PayPal account settings will block all payments to gambling merchants, which stops the transaction at the payment stage regardless of which bookmaker it is going to.
Free, independent support is available from GamCare and the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, open 24 hours a day.
You must be 18 or over to gamble in the UK. If gambling is causing you or someone close to you harm, seek help now rather than later.
PayPal betting sites: FAQ
The best are Quickbet, BetMGM and BoyleSports, in that order. Seven more accept PayPal: Coral, Ladbrokes, bet365, William Hill, Betfair, NetBet and 21LuckyBet.
All 10 take PayPal for deposits and withdrawals, hold a live Great Britain licence, and were checked against their own cashiers in August 2026.
Sometimes, but not usually. Of the 10 bookmakers on this page, only Quickbet, BetMGM and 21LuckyBet accept a PayPal first deposit for their welcome offer.
William Hill and Betfair name PayPal in their excluded deposit methods. Always read the offer terms rather than the headline before you deposit.
Usually 1 to 6 hours, but it depends on the bookmaker.
Quickbet states under an hour and bet365 states 1 to 4 hours, while 21LuckyBet takes 1 to 3 business days and can hold a request at ‘pending’ for 24 to 72 hours. Verification has to be complete first.
Most do not. Of the 10 here, only 21LuckyBet charges, at 1% per withdrawal capped at £3. The other nine take no fee on PayPal deposits or withdrawals.
Check the withdrawal terms before you deposit, because fees are set by the bookmaker rather than by PayPal.
This is the closed-loop policy, and it comes from the UK Gambling Commission’s anti-money laundering rules rather than from the bookmaker. Funds return to the method they came from.
Coral and NetBet go further, and require a PayPal deposit within the previous six months before they will pay out to PayPal.
Yes. All 10 bookmakers on this page support PayPal deposits and withdrawals inside their iOS and Android apps, with the same limits as the desktop cashier.
The cashier is normally under the profile menu. One exception to watch: BetMGM’s validation check needs a PayPal page the mobile app will not display, so that step has to be done in a browser.
