bet365, Sky Bet and Betfair are the best rugby betting sites in the UK. That is after checking the rugby coverage at 11 UK bookmakers and counting every competition each one prices across both codes.

We went through each bookmaker’s own rugby section rather than a comparison site. For every one we recorded the competitions priced, the market types beyond the match result, and what the welcome offer is worth.

The club season restarts on 25 September 2026, when the Gallagher Premiership and the United Rugby Championship both open. The Super League run-in is live now, and the Six Nations follows on 5 February 2027.

Last checked on 2 September 2026. Competition counts come from each bookmaker’s own rugby section. Welcome offers and UKGC licence numbers were re-checked on the day this page went live.

11 best rugby betting sites

How we tested the rugby betting sites

We went through each bookmaker’s own rugby section rather than relying on comparison sites. For every one we recorded which of the six major competitions it prices.

We also recorded the market types offered beyond the match result, and what the welcome offer is worth to a new customer.

Competition coverage is a straight count and appears in the table above. Market depth is a judgement about how far a book goes past match result and handicap.

That means try scorer markets, total points, winning margin and bet builder.

Here is what we weighed and by how much.

CriteriaWeightingWhat we assessed
Competition coverage35%How many of the six major rugby competitions the bookmaker prices
Market depth35%Market types beyond match result: try scorers, total points, handicaps, bet builder

Reviews of the best rugby betting sites

Below is the detail behind each score: what every bookmaker does well on rugby, and where it falls short.

1. bet365: Best for Super League player props

bet365 rugby betting sites

bet365 prices all six major rugby competitions and gives you the widest choice of player markets on this list. It also streams selected Super League matches to funded accounts, which is unusual.

Most UK bookmakers stream racing and football but carry no rugby at all. bet365 does not stream rugby union.

There are eight player prop markets on each Super League fixture, more than any other rugby betting site we checked. Bet builders are available on rugby too, which is not true everywhere.

Market depth is the reason bet365 tops this list, and our bet365 review covers how the rest of the sportsbook holds up.

The welcome free bets can be staked on rugby, and the qualifying rules are set out in full on the bet365 bonus code page.

Welcome offer: Bet £10, get £30 in free bets. Full terms, minimum odds and payment exclusions are on the operator’s own site and must be met for the offer to pay.

Rugby at a glance: Competitions priced 6 of 6 | Welcome offer Bet £10, get £30 | Rugby score 9/10

Pros
  • Prices all six major rugby competitions, union and league.
  • Eight player prop markets per Super League fixture, the most on this list.
Cons
  • Streams Super League only, with no rugby union video at all.
  • Free bets are paid as bet credits, and the stake is not returned with winnings.

Last tested: 27 August 2026. Last checked: 2 September 2026. UKGC licence: 55148 (Hillside (UK Sports) ENC).

2. Sky Bet: Best for RequestABet on rugby league

Sky Bet rugby betting sites

Sky Bet prices all six major competitions and gives rugby league bettors a strong set of player markets.

You can bet on first try scorer, last try scorer and anytime try scorer. Not every rugby betting app offers Super League player props at all.

RequestABet is the reason Sky Bet sits this high. It is available on both the Super League and the NRL, so you can build a selection the standard market list does not carry.

Our Sky Bet review looks at the wider sportsbook, and the current free bet terms are on the Sky Bet sign up offer page.

Welcome offer: Place any bet and get £30 in free bets. The qualifying bet is a single or each way at odds of 1/1 (2.00) or greater, from a minimum stake of 5p, and it can be a rugby bet. The free bets pay as three £10 tokens, usable on any single or each way market except virtuals, so rugby qualifies. Tokens expire after 30 days. Neteller and Skrill are excluded.

Rugby at a glance: Competitions priced 6 of 6 | Welcome offer Place any bet, get £30 | Rugby score 8.5/10

Pros
  • RequestABet on both the Super League and the NRL.
  • First, last and anytime try scorer markets on Super League fixtures.
Cons
  • Market depth on rugby union trails the leaders on this list.
  • Free bets pay as three £10 tokens rather than one stake, and virtuals are excluded.

Last tested: 27 August 2026. Last checked: 2 September 2026. UKGC licence: 67370 (SBG Sports Limited).

3. Betfair: Best for NRL betting markets

Betfair rugby betting sites

Betfair prices all six major rugby competitions, but what sets it apart is the NRL.

On the Brisbane Broncos against Melbourne Storm fixture played on 27 August 2026, we counted 176 markets. That is the deepest single rugby league card we found.

The outright list is unusually long too, with nine separate outright markets on the 2026 NRL alone.

Our Betfair review covers the exchange and the sportsbook, and the free bet terms sit on the Betfair sign up offer page.

Welcome offer: Bet £10, get £50 in free bets. Full terms, minimum odds and payment exclusions are on the operator’s own site and must be met for the offer to pay.

Rugby at a glance: Competitions priced 6 of 6 | Welcome offer Bet £10, get £50 | Rugby score 8.5/10

Pros
  • 176 markets counted on a single NRL fixture.
  • Nine outright markets on the 2026 NRL, more than any rival here.
Cons
  • Rugby union coverage is solid but not a standout.
  • The exchange and sportsbook run separate prices, which takes some getting used to.

Last tested: 27 August 2026. Last checked: 2 September 2026. UKGC licence: 39439 (PPB Counterparty Services Limited).

4. BoyleSports: Best for total points markets

BoyleSports rugby betting sites

You can bet on both codes at BoyleSports, with five of the six major competitions covered. The Gallagher Premiership is the one it does not price.

There is a standing rugby league promotion: if the team you back to win goes 16 or more points clear, the bet is paid out early.

Total points is where BoyleSports is strongest, with more than 50 options on most Super League and NRL fixtures.

Our BoyleSports review has the detail on withdrawals and support, and the welcome terms are on the BoyleSports promo code page.

Welcome offer: Bet £10, get £40 in free bets. Full terms, minimum odds and payment exclusions are on the operator’s own site and must be met for the offer to pay.

Rugby at a glance: Competitions priced 5 of 6 | Welcome offer Bet £10, get £40 | Rugby score 8.5/10

Pros
  • More than 50 total points options on most Super League and NRL games.
  • Early payout promotion when your rugby league team goes 16 points clear.
Cons
  • Does not price the Gallagher Premiership, the one competition TNT shows.
  • Five of six competitions covered, so union bettors lose a major fixture list.

Last tested: 27 August 2026. Last checked: 2 September 2026. UKGC licence: 39469 (Boylesports Enterprise).

5. William Hill: Best for competitive Six Nations odds

William Hill rugby betting sites

William Hill is one of six bookmakers here to price all six major rugby competitions, and its Six Nations odds are the sharpest on this list.

As of 26 August 2026 it held the best or joint best price on four of the six nations involved.

Super League betting is competitive too, with niche markets such as First Try Scorer Double Chance. You can also request a price on a custom selection through the #YourOdds service.

Our William Hill review covers the app and the cash out rules, and the current free bet needs the code shown on the William Hill promo code page.

Welcome offer: Bet £10, get £30 in free bets. Full terms, minimum odds and payment exclusions are on the operator’s own site and must be met for the offer to pay.

Rugby at a glance: Competitions priced 6 of 6 | Welcome offer Bet £10, get £30 | Rugby score 8.5/10

Pros
  • Best or joint best Six Nations price on four of the six nations.
  • #YourOdds lets you request a price on a custom rugby selection.
Cons
  • At £30 the welcome offer is among the smallest on this page.
  • A promo code is required at sign up, unlike most rivals here.

Last tested: 27 August 2026. Last checked: 2 September 2026. UKGC licence: 39225 (WHG (International) Limited).

6. Paddy Power: Best for rugby union competition choice

Paddy Power rugby betting sites

Paddy Power covers both codes and prices all six major competitions, with outrights and match betting on each.

The union list goes well beyond the majors. Alongside the Six Nations, Champions Cup, URC and Gallagher Premiership you will find French Pro D2, the New Zealand NPC, the Lions Tour and World Cup 2027.

Market depth is the weaker half. The number of markets per fixture, particularly around total points, sits behind the leaders here.

Our Paddy Power review looks at how it performs outside rugby, and the qualifying bet rules are on the Paddy Power sign up offer page.

Welcome offer: Bet £5, get £30 in free bets. Full terms, minimum odds and payment exclusions are on the operator’s own site and must be met for the offer to pay.

Rugby at a glance: Competitions priced 6 of 6 | Welcome offer Bet £5, get £30 | Rugby score 8/10

Pros
  • Prices all six majors plus Pro D2, the NPC, the Lions Tour and World Cup 2027.
  • Lowest qualifying stake of the six competition leaders at £5.
Cons
  • Fewer markets per fixture than the top of this list, especially total points.
  • Free bet is £30, below what Betfair and Betfred pay for a £10 stake.

Last tested: 27 August 2026. Last checked: 2 September 2026. UKGC licence: 39439 (PPB Counterparty Services Limited).

7. Betfred: Best rugby outright odds

Betfred rugby betting sites

If you are getting set for the club union season starting on 25 September, Betfred is the one for outrights.

It prices outright markets on the Gallagher Premiership, the URC and the Champions Cup, and carries Six Nations outrights as well.

Super League bettors get a solid run of price boosts on every fixture, which is not something every rival does.

Our Betfred review covers the shop and online differences, and the welcome free bets are explained on the Betfred promo code page.

Welcome offer: Bet £10, get £50 in free bets. Full terms, minimum odds and payment exclusions are on the operator’s own site and must be met for the offer to pay.

Rugby at a glance: Competitions priced 6 of 6 | Welcome offer Bet £10, get £50 | Rugby score 8/10

Pros
  • Outright markets across all four major union competitions.
  • Price boosts on every Super League fixture.
Cons
  • Match market depth trails bet365 and Betfair.
  • Free bets are split between sports and acca tokens rather than paid as cash.

Last tested: 27 August 2026. Last checked: 2 September 2026. UKGC licence: 39544 (Petfre (Gibraltar) Limited).

8. Spreadex: Best for rugby league spread betting

Spreadex rugby betting sites

Spreadex covers both codes and is the strongest here on rugby league market count.

Every upcoming Super League fixture carried more than 200 markets when we checked, including a deep run of total points and handicap options.

One caveat on that number. Spreadex is a spread betting firm as well as a fixed odds bookmaker, so the total counts spread markets alongside fixed odds and is not directly comparable with the counts elsewhere on this page.

Our Spreadex review explains how the spread side works if you have not used one before.

Welcome offer: Bet £10, get £60 in free bets. Full terms, minimum odds and payment exclusions are on the operator’s own site and must be met for the offer to pay.

Rugby at a glance: Competitions priced 5 of 6 | Welcome offer Bet £10, get £60 | Rugby score 8/10

Pros
  • More than 200 markets on every upcoming Super League fixture.
  • Largest welcome offer on this page at £60 in free bets.
Cons
  • Does not price the Champions Cup, so union coverage stops at five of six.
  • Spread markets inflate the market count and are riskier than fixed odds.

Last tested: 27 August 2026. Last checked: 2 September 2026. UKGC licence: 8835 (Spreadex Limited).

9. Ladbrokes: Best for multi try scorer markets

Ladbrokes rugby betting sites

Ladbrokes covers both codes but prices only four of the six major competitions, which caps its score.

What it does well is rugby league pricing. Super League odds were either better than or in line with the industry top price on handicaps and player props.

The player prop list goes past first and anytime try scorer into 2 or More Tryscorer and Hat Trick markets.

Our Ladbrokes review covers the app and withdrawal speed, and the qualifying bet rules are on the Ladbrokes sign up offer page.

Welcome offer: Bet £5, get £30 in free bets. Full terms, minimum odds and payment exclusions are on the operator’s own site and must be met for the offer to pay.

Rugby at a glance: Competitions priced 4 of 6 | Welcome offer Bet £5, get £30 | Rugby score 7/10

Pros
  • 2 or More Tryscorer and Hat Trick markets on Super League fixtures.
  • Handicap and player prop prices match or beat the industry top price.
Cons
  • Prices four of six major competitions, missing the Premiership and Champions Cup.
  • Free bets expire in seven days, shorter than most on this page.

Last tested: 27 August 2026. Last checked: 2 September 2026. UKGC licence: 54743 (LC International Limited).

10. Coral: Best for alternative player props

Coral rugby betting sites

Coral prices both codes and carries a good spread of outrights, but like Ladbrokes it covers only four of the six majors.

Coral and Ladbrokes run on the same platform and price the same four competitions, so the difference between them is in the player props.

Coral is the one for the alternative markets. Alongside first, last and anytime try scorer you get 1st Half Anytime Tryscorer and Both Players To Score A Try.

Our Coral review has the detail on limits and support, and the free bet terms sit on the Coral sign up offer page.

Pros
  • Alternative props including 1st Half Anytime Tryscorer and Both Players To Score A Try.
  • Multi try scorer markets alongside the standard first and anytime options.
Cons
  • Prices four of six major competitions, the same gap as Ladbrokes.
  • Free bets expire in seven days.

Last tested: 27 August 2026. Last checked: 2 September 2026. UKGC licence: 54743 (LC International Limited).

11. BetMGM: Best for competitive rugby league odds

BetMGM rugby betting sites

BetMGM is the narrowest book on this page. It prices two of the six major competitions, both of them rugby league.

There is no rugby union pricing at all, so the Premiership, URC, Champions Cup and Six Nations are all missing.

What it does price, it prices well. Match odds, handicap, handicap 3-way and draw no bet on Super League fixtures were competitive against the rest of this list.

BetMGM has no review page on TNT Sports yet. Its welcome offer is listed alongside the rest on our best betting sign up offers page.

Welcome offer: Bet £10, get £40 in free bets. Full terms, minimum odds and payment exclusions are on the operator’s own site and must be met for the offer to pay.

Rugby at a glance: Competitions priced 2 of 6 | Welcome offer Bet £10, get £40 | Rugby score 5/10

Pros
  • Competitive Super League prices on match odds and handicap markets.
  • Handicap 3-way and draw no bet available on rugby league fixtures.
Cons
  • Prices only two of the six major competitions.
  • No rugby union markets at all, so no Premiership, URC, Champions Cup or Six Nations.

Last tested: 27 August 2026. Last checked: 2 September 2026. UKGC licence: 39198 (LeoVegas Gaming PLC).

Which bookmakers price every rugby competition?

Six major rugby competitions run across the year. In union that means the Gallagher Premiership, the United Rugby Championship, the Champions Cup and the Six Nations.

In league it means the Super League and the NRL. Both tend to run when there is no club union on, so following both codes gives you something to bet on all year.

Here is the full breakdown of what each bookmaker on this page prices, union first.

Six betting sites price every rugby competition: bet365, Sky Bet, Betfair, Paddy Power, Betfred and William Hill.

Rugby league betting sites

Every site on this page prices rugby league, which is mostly played through the union off-season.

Spreadex has the most markets per Super League game of any operator here. When we checked, every upcoming fixture carried more than 200.

As covered in our Betfred review, Betfred does not match that for choice, but it does boost prices on every Super League fixture.

For a rugby league offer, BoyleSports pays out early when the team you back goes 16 points clear.

For the NRL, Betfair is the pick. It carries between 150 and 200 markets on most fixtures, more than anything else here.

Rugby betting markets explained

Plenty of rugby markets are the same ones you get on other sports. A few are particular to rugby.

Here is what the main ones mean and how they pay.

Match result and the draw

The most common rugby bet, in both codes, is on the result.

You back the home team, the away team, or the draw. Draws are rarer in rugby than in football, so the price is usually long.

Handicap betting

A handicap gives one team a points start or deficit before the match begins.

In a Super League game between Leeds and Wigan, the line might be Wigan -12.5.

You either back Wigan to win by 13 or more, or Leeds to lose by 12 or fewer.

Total points

Total points is a bet on the combined score of both teams.

You are backing the match to go over or under a set number, such as Over 42.5 or Under 50.5 points.

Try scorer markets

Try scorer markets are bets on individual players rather than the team.

You can back a player to score the first try, or to score at any point in the match.

Deeper lists add two or more tries, last try scorer, and first try of the second half.

Winning margin

Winning margin asks you to pick the result and the size of it.

Back St Helens to beat Leeds by 6 to 10 points and you are paid if the margin lands in that band.

Half time, full time

This is a bet on the result at the break and at the end.

You might back the home team to lead at half time and win at full time, or the game to be level at half time before the home side wins.

Outrights and each-way terms

Outright betting is on the competition rather than a match, such as England to win the Six Nations.

Some outrights allow each-way, which is two bets: one on the win, one on the place.

Two places at a third of the odds is typical, but terms differ by competition, so check before you stake.

How to sign up and place your first rugby bet

Signing up takes a few minutes. Here is the sequence.

Pick a site from this page and follow the link through to its sign-up form.

Enter your details and choose a username and password.

Add a deposit method and fund the account. Check the offer terms first, because some payment methods are excluded from welcome offers.

Find the code, competition and match you want, open the market and click the price to add it to your betslip.

Check the price has not moved, then place the bet.

You will need to verify your identity before withdrawing, using a passport or driving licence, and sometimes proof of address.

Do that when you register rather than when you want your money, and you will avoid a delay.

Betting on Premiership rugby with TNT Sports

TNT Sports is the home of the Gallagher Premiership and shows every match live.

That deal runs to the end of the 2030/31 season.

If you are watching a Premiership game on TNT and want to bet in-play, the sequence is the same at any book.

Open the in-play page for the match you are watching and scroll to the market you want.

Click the price to add the selection to your betslip.

Check the price has not moved before you strike the bet, and confirm if it has.

Markets suspend at key moments, such as when a try has been scored or a conversion is being taken.

Most sites on this page offer cash out on rugby, which settles a bet early for whatever it is worth at that moment. It is worth checking a site offers it on rugby and not only on football.

How to choose a rugby betting site

Four things separate a good rugby book from a book that happens to price rugby.

UKGC licence

Only bet with sites holding a Great Britain licence. Every site on this page holds one.

You can check any operator yourself on the Gambling Commission public register rather than taking the site’s own word for it.

Competition coverage

Coverage is the first thing to check, and it varies more than you would expect.

If you follow both codes, make sure the book prices the Premiership, URC, Champions Cup and Six Nations, plus the Super League and NRL.

Market depth beyond the match result

Every book prices the match result. The gap between them opens up after that.

Look for try scorer markets, total points, winning margin, handicaps and a bet builder that actually works on rugby.

Rugby streaming

Most UK bookmakers stream racing and football and no rugby at all.

Do not assume a site advertising live streaming will show you a rugby match.

On this page only bet365 streams rugby, and only selected Super League games, to customers with a funded account.

Welcome offers that accept a rugby qualifying bet

Most of the welcome offers here are not rugby specific.

You can usually place the qualifying bet on a rugby market, then use the free bets on rugby, as long as the minimum odds and payment terms are met.
