The best darts betting sites in the UK are bet365, Coral and Ladbrokes. bet365 came top on our four scores, with the most markets on the World Grand Prix match we counted and one of the lowest price margins.
Only Coral and Ladbrokes publish what happens to a tied Most 180s bet. They share one rulebook, and both offer a Tie option or void the bet.
We ranked 10 UK bookmakers on their published darts rules, their markets and prices on World Grand Prix matches, and a welcome offer you can use on darts.

How we ranked the best darts betting sites
We scored each bookmaker out of 10 on four things, then weighted them. Every score comes from something you can check yourself: a rules page, a match page or an offer’s terms. Our best cricket betting sites ranking follows the same method, with rain rules in place of the tie rules used here.
- Settlement rules, 35%. Four questions from each bookmaker’s own darts rules: tie rules for Most 180s and Highest checkout, an unfinished-match rule and a nine-dart rule. Two points, plus two per yes.
- Market depth, 25%. Markets on Niels Zonneveld v Gary Anderson, a World Grand Prix match on 1 October 2026, counted logged out before the start. Each heading counts once. The biggest count scores 10, the rest in proportion.
- Odds, 20%. The match-winner margin, the edge built into the prices, averaged over four World Grand Prix matches on 1 October 2026. Lower is better. Under 5% scores 10, 5% to 5.99% scores 8, 6% to 6.99% scores 6, and 7% to 7.99% scores 4.
- Welcome offer, 20%. The free-bet total in the headline. We only ranked offers whose free bets can go on darts. £50 or more scores 10, £40 to £49 scores 8, and £30 to £39 scores 6.
If two bookmakers finish level, the higher rules score goes first, then the bigger market count, then alphabetical order.

Darts betting markets explained
These six markets come up on most darts match pages, and each raises a settlement question.
Coral and Ladbrokes both let you cash out darts bets before the match ends, and our cash out betting sites page compares how other bookmakers handle it.
- Match winner: you back one of the two players. In the Premier League a 3-Way market prices the Tie, and the 2-Way version voids on a tied result.
- Most 180s: you back the player who throws more maximums. An equal count voids, loses or pays the Tie option, depending on the bookmaker.
- Total 180s: an over or under line on the combined maximums in the match. If a match is abandoned after the line has been passed, bet365 still settles the bet.
- Highest checkout: you back the player who finishes a leg on the bigger score, with 170 the ceiling. The 2-Way version has no home for a tie unless the bookmaker prices one.
- Handicap: a virtual head start in legs or sets, so a 3-1 win loses a -2.5 leg handicap bet. Leg and set handicaps are separate bets, and Midnite gives each its own rule.
- Nine-dart finish: a leg won in nine darts, priced per match or across a tournament. Five of the 10 publish a rule for it.
Top 10 darts betting sites ranked
bet365 tops our darts scores on 8.50, with Coral and Ladbrokes level on 8.20. To look beyond darts, compare them with the best betting sites in the UK.

bet365 answers three of our four rules questions, and splits its darts rules into a separate heading for each market. It also listed the most markets on Zonneveld v Anderson, 40, and averaged a 4.996% margin across our four matches, just under 5%. The app streams PDC events live, a point our bet365 review picked up.
Score: rules 8/10, markets 10/10, odds 10/10, welcome offer 6/10, total 8.50/10.
How bet365 handles double-in formats
The World Grand Prix makes every leg start on a double. bet365’s First Dart rules cover it: “In a match format where Double In is used, the market will be void if offered in error.”
/https%3A%2F%2Fmedia-eurosport.s3.gra.io.cloud.ovh.net%2Fbetting%2F2026%2F10%2Fbet365-darts-markets-mobile.png)
Where bet365 leads
Its in-play rule gives a clear answer on an abandoned match. Bets are void “except for those bets the outcome of which has already been determined at the time of abandonment”, so a passed Total 180s line still settles.
Where bet365 falls short
The single Most 180s market has one line: “All bets void if match not completed.” A tied count is only covered inside the Match/Set Double and Treble, where “Any Other Outcome” takes it.
Pick bet365 if you bet while a match is live. Qualify for the bet365 bonus code offer with a £10 bet at 1/5 or bigger.
- Voids a tied Highest checkout in writing
- Publishes nine-dart and 170 finish rules
- No tie rule on the single Most 180s market

2. Coral (8.20/10): best for tied 180s bets

All four of our rules questions get an answer in Coral’s 33-section darts rulebook, the same document Ladbrokes publishes. Its 4.8% average margin was the lowest we found, level with Ladbrokes, though it listed 24 markets to bet365’s 40. Darts sits in its own section alongside snooker and esports, in a sportsbook our Coral review found covers more than 40 sports.
Score: rules 10/10, markets 6/10, odds 10/10, welcome offer 6/10, total 8.20/10.
How Coral settles nine-darter markets
Rule 19 has three parts: a match, a named player across a tournament, and the whole tournament. For a named player, “The selected player must throw at least one dart for bets to stand.”
/https%3A%2F%2Fmedia-eurosport.s3.gra.io.cloud.ovh.net%2Fbetting%2F2026%2F10%2Fcoral-darts-markets-mobile.png)
Where Coral leads
Rule 7 covers the single Most 180s market: “A Tie option should always be offered. If no Tie option is available and both players record an equal number of 180s, all bets will be void.”
Where Coral falls short
Rule 18 turns a level count into a loss on combination bets. Where Most 180s or Highest Checkout ties, “Bets on either player will be settled as losers” and “the ‘None’ selection will be settled as the winner”.
Coral suits anyone backing 180s markets who wants a tie handled in writing. A £5 first bet at 1/2 or bigger unlocks the Coral sign up offer.
- Tie rules on both Most 180s and Highest checkout
- Four £5 free bets usable on any sport, darts included
- The Tie option is expected, not guaranteed
- Two of the six free bets are football and racing bet builders
3. Ladbrokes (8.20/10): best for abandoned matches

Ladbrokes publishes the same darts rulebook as Coral, word for word, so it also answers all four questions. Its prices matched Coral’s on all four of our matches, a 4.8% average margin, and it listed the same 24 markets. Ladbrokes also sponsors the UK Open, one of the PDC events listed in the Ladbrokes review.
Score: rules 10/10, markets 6/10, odds 10/10, welcome offer 6/10, total 8.20/10.
Ladbrokes’ Premier League rules
Rule 30 covers a player who leaves a league competition such as the Premier League early: “bets on that player will be void unless settlement has already been determined.”
/https%3A%2F%2Fmedia-eurosport.s3.gra.io.cloud.ovh.net%2Fbetting%2F2026%2F10%2Fladbrokes-darts-markets-mobile.png)
Where Ladbrokes leads
Rule 2 settles an unfinished match on the player who goes through, “provided at least one dart has been thrown by either player in the first leg”. Coral, BoyleSports and Spreadex also tie the start to a dart thrown.
Where Ladbrokes falls short
Nothing in the rulebook goes beyond Coral’s. Where Coral is weak, on combination bets under rule 18, Ladbrokes is weak in the same way.
Choose Ladbrokes if you want a clear line on when an abandoned match still counts. Check the Ladbrokes sign up offer for the £5 qualifying bet at 1/2.
- A dart-thrown threshold for abandoned matches
- Premier League withdrawal rule in writing
- Two of the six free bets are football and racing bet builders
- The Tie option is expected, not guaranteed

Spreadex covers darts in four numbered clauses in a fixed-odds rulebook dated 28 August 2026. Two of them answer our questions. It listed 19 markets on Zonneveld v Anderson, with a 5.7% average margin. Spread betting is its main product, which the Spreadex review covers.
Score: rules 6/10, markets 5/10, odds 8/10, welcome offer 10/10, total 6.95/10.
Spreadex’s postponement rule
Clause 4 keeps delayed bets alive: “Bets on matches that are delayed from the original scheduled start, but still completed in the relevant tournament and format at a later time, will stand.”
/https%3A%2F%2Fmedia-eurosport.s3.gra.io.cloud.ovh.net%2Fbetting%2F2026%2F10%2Fspreadex-darts-markets-mobile.png)
Where Spreadex leads
Clause 3 reads: “If the result is a tie then dead heat rules will be applied.” Under dead heat the stake is split between the tied players, so a tied checkout still pays a share.
Where Spreadex falls short
Clause 2 voids the match result “If a match starts (at least one dart is thrown) but is not completed”, even when a player goes through. Eight of the 10 pay the player who progresses.
Go with Spreadex if you want a tied checkout paid rather than refunded. The offer’s three £10 fixed-odds free bets can go on darts.
- Dead heat on a tied Highest checkout
- Postponed matches stand if completed later
- An abandoned match voids your match bet
- £30 of the £60 is football and racing spread bets
5. Betfred (6.70/10): best for Premier League bets
- £30 sports and £20 acca free bets

Betfred’s £50 welcome offer splits into £30 of sports free bets and £20 of acca free bets, and the qualifying bet can go on any sportsbook market at Evens.
Its darts rules answer two of our four questions, on unfinished matches and nine-darters. It listed 14 markets on Zonneveld v Anderson, with a 6.0% average margin. Darts is one of 21 sports the Betfred review found priced before and during play.
Score: rules 6/10, markets 4/10, odds 8/10, welcome offer 10/10, total 6.70/10.
Betfred’s Premier League rules
Two-way Premier League bets are void on a tie, while the three-way market prices the Tie as a selection. Like Paddy Power, Betfred rules that “The Bull counts as red” in colour markets.
/https%3A%2F%2Fmedia-eurosport.s3.gra.io.cloud.ovh.net%2Fbetting%2F2026%2F10%2Fbetfred-darts-markets-mobile.png)
Where Betfred leads
An unfinished match goes to the “player progressing to the next round”, or the player awarded the victory. Tournament nine-darter bets stand only if the “Tournament must be completed.”
Where Betfred falls short
A tie is only covered inside its combined win, 180s and checkout market, where the “bets will be deemed losers”. The single Most 180s and Highest checkout markets have no tie rule.
Betfred suits anyone betting on Premier League nights. Only £20 of the Betfred sign up offer is restricted to accas, and the other £30 works on darts singles.
- £50 offer with £30 usable on darts singles
- Nine-dart rules for matches and tournaments
- No tie rule on single 180s or checkout markets
- £20 of the offer is acca-only
6. Betfair (6.50/10): best for darts accas

Five £10 tokens for bet builders, accas or multiples on any sport make up Betfair’s £50 offer. Its sportsbook rules answer one of our four questions. It listed 25 markets on Zonneveld v Anderson, with a 5.6% average margin. Betfair also runs a betting exchange, separate from the sportsbook we tested, and the Betfair review covers both.
Score: rules 4/10, markets 6/10, odds 8/10, welcome offer 10/10, total 6.50/10.
How Betfair compares with Paddy Power
Both are Flutter brands on UKGC account 39439, and their unfinished-match rules open with the same sentence.
Paddy Power adds that its rule “only applies to the Match Betting market”; Betfair’s does not. Our price check found the same match-winner odds at both on three of our four matches.
/https%3A%2F%2Fmedia-eurosport.s3.gra.io.cloud.ovh.net%2Fbetting%2F2026%2F10%2Fbetfair-darts-markets-mobile.png)
Where Betfair leads
The offer suits darts doubles and bet builders, and the unfinished-match rule is plain: “the player progressing to the next round will be deemed the winner (or in the case of the final the player declared the winner).”
Where Betfair falls short
A tied count is only settled inside doubles and trebles, and there it loses: the bet fails if “the selected player’s highest checkout is the same as his/her opponent” or the 180s match.
A good fit for darts doubles and trebles. The Betfair sign up offer needs a £10 qualifying bet at Evens or bigger.
- £50 in free bets usable on darts multiples
- Clear progressing-player rule for unfinished matches
- No tie rule on single 180s or checkout markets
- Free bets cannot go on a darts single
7. BoyleSports (6.25/10): best for nine-dart bets

BoyleSports sponsors the World Grand Prix and publishes a dated rulebook, last revised on 24 September 2026. It answers two of our four questions, listed 28 markets on Zonneveld v Anderson and averaged a 6.6% margin. Cash out works on darts singles and multiples, before and during a match, according to our BoyleSports review.
Score: rules 6/10, markets 7/10, odds 6/10, welcome offer 6/10, total 6.25/10.
When a darts match counts as started
BoyleSports settles an unfinished match on the player who goes through, “including as a result of withdrawal or disqualification”.
It also defines the start: “A match is deemed to have started once the first dart of the first leg is thrown.”
/https%3A%2F%2Fmedia-eurosport.s3.gra.io.cloud.ovh.net%2Fbetting%2F2026%2F10%2Fboylesports-darts-markets-mobile.png)
Where BoyleSports leads
Its nine-dart rules cover four separate markets. The match version reads: “All bets void if match is not completed unless a 9 dart finish already achieved.”
Where BoyleSports falls short
Ties are only covered inside the Player Full House, where the bet loses if “the selected player’s highest checkout is the same as his/her opponent” or the 180s match.
BoyleSports is the one for nine-darter bets across the World Grand Prix, which it sponsors. The BoyleSports sign up offer pays a £30 free bet after a £10 qualifying bet at Evens.
- Nine-dart rules for a match, a tournament, a day and a Premier League week
- £30 free bet balance with no sport restriction
- No tie rule on single 180s or checkout markets
- A tie inside a Player Full House bet loses
8. William Hill (5.75/10): best for payout limits

William Hill answers none of our four rules questions. Its general sports rules list darts among the sports accepted “in accordance with the special rules issued for such events”, and no darts rules follow.
It listed 34 markets on Zonneveld v Anderson, with a 5.3% average margin. Its daily price boosts cover darts too, and the William Hill review lists the rest of its promotions.
Score: rules 2/10, markets 9/10, odds 8/10, welcome offer 6/10, total 5.75/10.
William Hill’s darts market list
Its 34 markets were second only to bet365’s 40. The match page splits them into tabs for legs, 180s, handicaps, checkouts and match specials, and its #YourOdds request-a-bet section adds more that we did not count.
/https%3A%2F%2Fmedia-eurosport.s3.gra.io.cloud.ovh.net%2Fbetting%2F2026%2F10%2Fwilliam-hill-darts-markets-mobile.png)
Where William Hill leads
It publishes how much a darts bet can win. On PDC events the cap is £250,000 for outrights and match winner markets, and £50,000 on all other darts markets.
Where William Hill falls short
With no darts section, a tied 180s count, an abandoned match and a nine-darter all fall back on general rules written for every sport.
Best kept for PDC match-winner bets, where the limit is highest. A £10 single at 1/2 or bigger qualifies for the William Hill sign up offer.
- Published darts payout limits
- Free bets valid on any sports market
- No darts rules section
- Every darts question falls back to general clauses
9. Paddy Power (5.70/10): best for a £5 sign-up bet
- £30 in free bets from a £5 stake

Paddy Power turns a £5 qualifying bet into £30 of free bets you can use on any sportsbook market, darts included.
Its rules answer one of our four questions, and it listed 25 markets on Zonneveld v Anderson with a 5.5% average margin. Its bet builder, cash out and app were tested over five days for the Paddy Power review.
Score: rules 4/10, markets 6/10, odds 8/10, welcome offer 6/10, total 5.70/10.
Paddy Power’s colour rule
In its First and Final Leg Winning Double colour markets, “The Bull counts as red.” Worth knowing before you back a colour on a bullseye finish.
/https%3A%2F%2Fmedia-eurosport.s3.gra.io.cloud.ovh.net%2Fbetting%2F2026%2F10%2Fpaddy-power-darts-markets-mobile.png)
Where Paddy Power leads
The welcome offer has few limits on darts. Its free bets work on any sportsbook market, with only bet types such as Trixie, Yankee and Patent excluded.
Where Paddy Power falls short
The progressing-player rule stops at one market: “This only applies to the Match Betting market.” A tie counts only in doubles and trebles, where it settles “as a losing bet”.
The low first stake is the main draw: a £5 bet at Evens or bigger qualifies for the Paddy Power sign up offer.
- £30 in free bets from a £5 stake
- Free bets work on darts singles
- No tie rule on single 180s or checkout markets
- The unfinished-match rule covers match betting only
10. Midnite (4.65/10): best for handicap rules
- Separate leg and set handicap rules
- Dated darts rules page

Midnite dates its darts page, last updated on 19 March 2026, and answers one of our four rules questions.
It listed 19 markets on Zonneveld v Anderson, and its prices carried a 7.2% average margin. Its £30 welcome offer includes a £10 single free bet at Evens or bigger, and the terms name no sport.
Score: rules 4/10, markets 5/10, odds 4/10, welcome offer 6/10, total 4.65/10.
Midnite’s data-error clause
“If markets remain open with an incorrect score or incorrect match data that has an impact on prices, Midnite reserves the right to void affected bets.” That matters most in-play, when scores move fast.
/https%3A%2F%2Fmedia-eurosport.s3.gra.io.cloud.ovh.net%2Fbetting%2F2026%2F10%2Fmidnite-darts-markets-mobile.png)
Where Midnite leads
Leg handicaps and set handicaps each get their own heading in its darts rules. Its abandoned-match rule is clear too: “If a match is abandoned and a player progresses to the next round, they will be settled as a winner.”
Where Midnite falls short
Its combination rule for Highest Checkout and Most 180s reads: “Any tie in either component results in a losing bet.” There is no tie rule for either market on its own.
Useful if you bet set handicaps and want the format spelled out. Check the data-error clause before betting in-play.
- Separate rules for leg and set handicaps
- Dated darts rules page
- No tie rule on single 180s or checkout markets
- Any tie in a combination bet loses
Darts settlement rules: what each bookmaker publishes
The same tied or abandoned bet settles several different ways across these 10 bookmakers. One of them, William Hill, publishes no darts rules in its sports rules at all.

Most 180s tie rule: 2 of 10
Coral and Ladbrokes, which publish one document between them. Rule 7 at Ladbrokes says “A Tie option should always be offered”, and without one an equal number of 180s voids all bets.
Tied highest checkout: 4 of 10 give an answer
bet365 voids the bet. Coral and Ladbrokes void it only where no Tie option was offered. Spreadex applies dead heat rules and splits the stake.
Five settle a tie only inside combination bets
Betfair, Betfred, BoyleSports, Midnite and Paddy Power cover a tied count only in doubles, trebles or a Full House, and there it loses.
Unfinished match: 8 pay the player who progresses
Spreadex voids the match bet instead, and William Hill publishes nothing. Four bookmakers tie the start of a match to a dart being thrown: Coral, Ladbrokes, BoyleSports and Spreadex.
Nine-dart finish: 5 of 10 publish a rule
bet365, Betfred, BoyleSports, Coral and Ladbrokes. BoyleSports has separate rules for a match, a tournament, a day and a Premier League week.
3 of 10 date their darts rules
BoyleSports dates its rulebook 24 September 2026, Spreadex 28 August 2026 and Midnite 19 March 2026. The other seven give no date, so you cannot tell when the wording last changed.
Darts tournaments you can bet on this season
The World Grand Prix in Leicester is the only major event where every leg must start on a double as well as finish on one.
BoyleSports sponsors it, and bet365 voids first-dart markets “if offered in error” under double-in.
The Premier League runs as weekly league nights, and it is where a 3-Way match market prices the Tie. Coral and Ladbrokes publish a withdrawal rule for league competitions, and BoyleSports prices a nine-darter for each Premier League week.
The World Matchplay in Blackpool is played in legs, with no sets. That changes how Total Legs and Correct Score markets read on the coupon.
The Grand Slam of Darts opens with a round-robin group stage, so a withdrawal matters more than in a straight knockout. BoyleSports’ progressing-player rule covers matches ended “as a result of withdrawal or disqualification”.
The Players Championship Finals close the ranking year in a knockout format. The World Championship runs over Christmas and New Year, so check each bookmaker’s withdrawal rule before backing a player weeks in advance.

It depends on the bookmaker. Only Coral and Ladbrokes publish a rule for the single Most 180s market.
Their shared rule 7 expects a Tie option to be offered. Without one, an equal count voids all bets and your stake comes back.
A handicap gives one player a virtual head start in legs or sets before the bet is settled. A 3-1 win loses a -2.5 leg handicap bet.
Leg and set handicaps are separate bets. Midnite gives each one its own rule on its darts page.
Yes. UK bookmakers price PDC matches in-play, and bet365 publishes what happens when a live match stops.
Its rules void an abandoned bet unless the result is already decided, so a passed Total 180s line still settles and an undecided leg winner does not.
A bet that a player will win a leg from 501 in nine darts, the fewest possible. It is priced per match, per player or across a tournament.
Five of the 10 publish a rule for it: bet365, Betfred, BoyleSports, Coral and Ladbrokes. The rest fall back on general abandonment wording.
