Paddy Power review (2026): Livestreaming, app & odds tested

I signed up and tested Paddy Power for 5 days. In my Paddy Power review, I also looked at the Bet Builder, cash out, live streaming, mobile app, withdrawals, and customer support. After testing, I found the bookmaker to be a football and racing specialist.

Livestreaming is available on 5+ sports, but goes heavy on UK and Irish racing. With live streams on selected tennis, football, esports, and basketball, all I had to do was login to watch live video.

Launched in 1988, Paddy Power is one of the best betting sites in the UK. That’s 35+ years of betting history. It merged with Betfair in 2016 to become Paddy Power Betfair. As part of my Paddy Power review UK, I dug into the bookie’s history. I found 2 fines assessed on the operator by UKGC. It includes a May 2023 fine of £490,000 after the app sent promotions about an offer to thousands of customers who had already self-excluded.

For this Paddy Power sportsbook review, I took the Match Result odds from 5 matchday 1 Premier League fixtures and calculated their overround and margins at Paddy Power vs competitors Coral and William Hill.

A lower margin converts to better odds and return for your stake. Across the 5 EPL opener fixtures, Paddy Power had an average margin of 6.58%, lower than 5.33% at Coral, but tighter than William Hill’s 7.38%.

Paddy Power app review: 4.7-rated iOS, fast access

My Paddy Power app review was on the Android app (version 6.5.9, updated 15 July 2026) on a Samsung Galaxy S25. At 5.75 MB, it got the app installed in under 60 seconds. Load times during tests averaged 7 seconds. It also never froze and stayed fast during the busy 15-16 August football weekend.

I was asked to activate Biometric login immediately after my first sign-in. I set a fingerprint login. Quite handy over testing.

The app is also well-rated, with 6m+ downloads and 300k+ Paddy Power reviews on app stores.

From the home screen, I needed to tap to reach football, horse racing, or in-play markets via the top menu. I liked that live streams have a bright green “Watch Live” label in the in-play section.

The 5 items in the bottom navigation are labelled My Bets, Find, Blackjack, Roulette, and Gaming. That’s 3 links to gaming products. Not great for sports punters. Overall, I found live streaming, cash out, Bet Builder, and in-play betting easier on the app.

How can I get customer support at Paddy Power?

FAQs and live chat get customer service going here. I also got help via X. There is no telephone line. I confirmed this with agent Prameela via live chat.

I contacted live chat at 6:55am on day 1 and was told agents were not available until 7am GMT. I returned at 7:10am, went through the virtual assistant, and was connected to a human agent. Across my 2nd and 3rd live chat sessions during operating hours, I received answers within an average of 6 minutes 45 seconds.

Paddy Power payments: £0.01 withdrawals

I found 10+ payment methods at the cashier. About 2x banking options at rivals like Betfred and BetVictor. I was happy to see Skrill and Neteller are still accepted, but the £30 min deposit was somewhat of a push-off. The minimum deposit is £5 for cards.

I also found live streams of international races, including from Australia, France, South Africa, and the US. Before most UK/Irish races go live, I could watch 3-5 video highlights analysing the race.

For football, streaming is available in a few leagues. Think MLS, Danish Superliga, and Danish 1st Division.

Live streaming is also available on selected events/other sports,including basketball, esports, golf, and tennis. I could watch available live streams by just logging in. No need to have bet on the event, unlike the £1 min stake with our bet365 review.

How does Paddy Power’s cash-out work?

Full and partial cash out is available. You must use a slider for partial cash out. There’s an average 2-second delay on cashing out, similar to some of the best cash out betting sites like bet365.

Cash out works on markets across 15+ sports. It was a cinch to see markets available for cashing out with the green label, especially on these sports:

Football is where Paddy Power is at its best. There are 500+ markets priced in the top leagues (I counted 620+ on the Arsenal vs Man City Community Shield). Around 75 to 90% of those push to in-play.

The Bet Builder lets punters add up to 25 selections per bet. That’s over 2x bet365’s 12 and William Hill’s 12 max selections.

The Mix N’ Match feature has been my best tool in the Bet Builder. It gives stats-backed selections based on the last 5 matches. You can sort suggested selections by odds, likelihood, or market.

Free horse racing live streams

PP is also a horse racing specialist. Best Odds Guaranteed applies to all UK/Irish races from 8am. Extra Places pays out up to 4 places where there are 16+ runners. There’s also a money-back special if your selection finishes 2nd, 3rd, or 4th to the favourite in any UK/Irish race.

Politics is a niche market that the sites do really well in. I found outright, party leader and general election markets on Canadian, Victoria, and Irish politics. More coverage than standard US and UK politics.
