Anthony is a lifelong Liverpool fan and lover of football that studied English literature at undergraduate level. He previews matches and covers the World Cup on TNT Sports, helping to bring readers insight into the tournament.

Anthony began his writing career as a reporter at Sports Mole, publishing previews and features for the site, before going on to join the team at Football Ground Guide. He has also worked across outlets with differing language requirements, contributing to Brazilian site Trivela, as well as the German, Dutch and Danish editions of Eurosport.

He regularly covers clubs from across a variety of European leagues for Sports Mole, and alongside producing pieces on international clashes, has some experience writing about sides from Asia, the Americas and Saudi Arabia. Anthony focuses on the infrastructure of the sport and the fan experience for Football Ground Guide, and covers the World Cup on Eurosport.

Interested in diving beyond the surface level to write critically about football, Anthony looks at the reasons behind performances and club decisions such as transfers and managerial appointments, considering how the details add up to the results we see on matchday. To that end, he makes an effort to form independent opinions about topics.
