Across a larger sample size, talkSPORT BET did not show us so favourably. The gap isn’t huge, but across matchday five of the 2026/27 EPL season, for 1X2 odds, on average, talkSPORT BET came out as slightly less competitive than bet365 and Betfred. Betfred in particular scored impressively across the games, which partly explains why our Betfred review is so positive.
talkSPORT BET mobile app
talkSPORT BET offers customers a mobile betting app that provides an identical betting experience to the desktop version, with nothing missing. The mobile app is available on both iOS and Android.
In writing this review, the iOS app was fully tested. The sign-up process was smooth, taking less than two minutes, while the app runs smoothly too, with no lags or faults detected during testing. Users can access the talkSPORT BET iOS app using biometric login, which makes for speedier access.
Live streaming is available via the mobile app, but only for UK and Irish horse racing, as well as greyhound racing.

talkSPORT BET offers live streaming for all UK and Irish horse racing. To stream any race, you simply need to have a funded account. The same applies to UK greyhound racing. Live streaming is also available across some e-Sports. When testing the live chat, football was also listed as a sport for live streaming, though when testing the site, no live streams were available for any football competition.
The talkSPORT BET app acts as a betting companion for TNT Sports, allowing you to place live bets whilst watching the action live on TNT. For example, TNT broadcasts one English Premier League game each and every matchday, and using the talkSPORT BET app allows you to place in-play bets while watching.
For the purposes of this review, I tested the talkSPORT BET app during the EPL game between Sunderland and Arsenal, which was shown live on TNT Sports 1. The in-play odds were quick to update, while market suspensions according to events on the pitch were short lived and also quick to update. I’d placed an ‘Under 2.5 Goals’ bet, which was available to cash out for most of the fixture, with the cash-out changing regularly depending on what happened in the match and the time lapsed.

The cash-out feature at talkSPORT BET is widely available across most sports, particularly football, with both full or partial cash outs available for most of the primary pre-match and in-play markets, leaving us to award a score of 8/10.
You can cash out both singles and accumulators, regardless of whether you’re using the desktop site or the mobile app. The value of the cash out depends on the live odds of your selection, with the feature being tied to the live market, which means that your cash out goes down if the live odds drift, with your cash out increasing if the live odds shorten.
At times, during an event, the cash-out feature on talkSPORT Bet can become temporarily unavailable while the live market re-adjusts to real-time occurrences.

The bet builder feature is only available for football, allowing punters to build same-game accas using more than 30 markets. At the time of reviewing, you cannot place bet builders on other sports such as tennis or basketball. This is a disappointment given that several other bookmakers allow bet-builder betting for sports besides football.
Horse racing at talkSPORT BET
The horse racing package is chunky, with each race featuring an easy-to-use racecard, providing smart stats that provide interesting insight into certain runners.
There’s enough market depth for talkSPORT BET to be considered competitive, with ‘place’ markets and ‘betting without’ available on each UK and Irish race. You can also ‘lengthen the odds’ of any horse in any race, with several options to choose from, the odds increasing depending on the chosen number winning lengths.
Niche sports at talkSPORT BET
In terms of niche sports, talkSPORT BET provides odds for futsal, hurling, table tennis and volleyball, though the market depth and general betting options for any of these sports is minimal and not as impressive as what you can find at some other bookmakers such as bet365.
