Villa Park, Birmingham

Aston Villa look to build on their win before the international break as they host an unbeaten Brentford side at Villa Park for round six of the Premier League.
The Villans recorded their first league win of the season last time out, coming out on the right side of a five-goal thriller at Tottenham, and currently sit 16th in the table, while the visitors recorded an emphatic win over West London counterparts Chelsea in their most recent outing to extend their unbeaten start in the English top flight campaign to five matches.
Preview: Aston Villa vs Brentford
Villa, who begin the season as reigning Europa League champions, failed to win any of their first four league matches for only the fourth time in their history before finally opening their account with that 3-2 win at Tottenham.
That victory leaves Emery's side 16th after five rounds, having also lost their first two Premier League matches at Villa Park this season, with a third straight home defeat something the manager will be eager to avoid.
A third defeat in as many league games on their own turf would also be the Villans' worst start to a season at the Birmingham ground since November 2020 under previous manager Dean Smith.
A repeat of last season's form would ease those worries, Villa having won 12 of their following 13 top-flight fixtures from this exact point in the 2025/26 campaign.
Villa have managed only four goals across their five Premier League matches so far, with their defence conceding nine times in the same span.

Brentford, by contrast, are one of only five top-flight sides yet to lose this season, a return of nine points from their opening five matches marking their best start to a Premier League campaign in the club's history.
The Bees have not lost in seven successive Premier League matches, winning two and drawing five, their longest unbeaten run in the competition since last season, with all three away fixtures in that sequence finishing level.
That sequence extends to nine games unbeaten once cup football is included, a run in which the west London club have scored at least twice on five occasions.
Brentford have scored 10 goals in their five Premier League matches this season, with home wins over both Tottenham and Chelsea arriving by an identical 3-0 scoreline.
Away form has been a different story, though, Brentford winless in their last seven Premier League away matches, with five draws and two defeats, since beating Burnley 4-3 in February.
Keith Andrews won both meetings with Villa last season after taking over from Thomas Frank, and the Brentford boss will be looking to maintain that perfect record in the fixture on Saturday.

Team news: Aston Villa vs Brentford
Aston Villa
Amadou Onana remains Villa's most significant absence, the midfielder facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament while on international duty with Belgium at the World Cup.
Ian Maatsen is the other confirmed absentee, the full-back still working his way back from the ankle problem that has kept him out since the early weeks of the season.
Pau Torres and Marco Bizot have both been carrying knocks heading into the weekend, the centre-back managing a thigh issue and the goalkeeper nursing a back problem picked up before the international break, with Emery to assess both closer to kick-off.
Leon Goretzka, still waiting for his first Villa appearance because of fitness issues, and Brian Madjo, who has been out since the middle of August with an ankle injury, are both working their way back into contention for a recall.
Matty Cash and Alysson are further fitness doubts, Cash carrying a dead-leg problem and Alysson managing the muscle injury he picked up in the win over Tottenham, while Modou Cisse's involvement will also be assessed on the day.

Nathan Collins missed Brentford's game against Bournemouth before the international break with a calf injury, and the captain's fitness will be assessed before Andrews decides whether he is available again against Villa.
Josh Dasilva and Sepp van den Berg are in a similar position, each working through a fitness check this week after thigh and groin issues respectively, with no firm call yet on either man's involvement.
Antoni Milambo and Mathias Jensen round out the players whose fitness is still to be confirmed, Milambo continuing his recovery from a knee injury and Jensen managed closely in training in the build-up to the weekend.
Kaye Furo is also a doubt with an ankle problem, though the extent of the issue has not been confirmed.
Mikkel Damsgaard looks set for a spell on the sidelines with a separate ankle injury, while Dango Ouattara is working his way back into contention after an illness that forced him out of international duty.

Head-to-head: Aston Villa vs Brentford
Brentford completed a league double over Villa last season, a 1-0 win at home in August 2025 that stood as their first-ever Premier League clean sheet against these opponents, before a 1-0 win at Villa Park in February through a Dango Ouattara goal, Brentford's first away win over Villa in the competition.
Villa still hold the overall advantage, though, with 10 wins from the 25 meetings between the clubs to Brentford's seven, along with eight draws.
The pair also met in the League Cup in September 2025, drawing 1-1 before Brentford advanced on penalties, and referee Craig Pawson takes charge of Saturday's Premier League meeting.
Villa have lost their last two Premier League meetings against Brentford, failing to score in either game, with their most recent home win in the fixture a 3-1 victory back in December 2024.
That February win at Villa Park was also Brentford's only victory from their previous 11 away league matches at the time, with six draws and four defeats making up the rest of that run.
