THE STAKES FOR THE MASTERS
Looking to the second Triple Crown event after the draw, this match will decide who Mark Selby plays, Neil Robertson or Xiao Guodong.
A win will land him a more favourable match against the Chinese player as the eighth seed, whereas the ninth seed, which could be him or Ronnie O'Sullivan based on today's outcome, will face the Aussie.
Judd Trump will see Ding Junhui.
THE JESTER LIVING UP TO HIS NAME
When Trump accidentally tapped the cue ball too softly in the middle of the pack, watch Selby ask if the white could be rolled back the millimetre it moved.

TRUMP 0-4 SELBY
You have to think that Selby will make the clearance now, Trump is as still as a statue in his seat.
He makes a slight positional error off the green, it's too thin on the green and it's an important rest shot on the brown now. Pink and black left, and he pots both solidly to snatch this frame!
Trump is in deep trouble now.
TRUMP 0-3 SELBY (68-37*)
Selby pounces straight on the opportunity, whittling the reds down one by one. If Trump loses this frame again he will surely be in a woeful mood.
TRUMP 0-3 SELBY (68*-0)
It's good work so far from Trump, but he finds himself in a tricky spot on a crucial red into the right middle pocket.
He misses to groans from the crowd, 75 left on the table and Selby is very much in this still.
TRUMP 0-3 SELBY (31*-0)
Trump pots first, clean into the green pocket. He's going to want to pick up a big break here to put some pressure back onto Selby.
TRUMP 0-3 SELBY
It's over now as Selby mathematically ties up this third frame as well. He could go for a possible 124 break to pick up his fifth century of the match, but he misses the yellow and falls just short!
Selby still comes out the better as Trump racked only a single point in this frame.
TRUMP 0-2 SELBY (1-56*)
A tidy few pots from Selby, he has made half tons in both frames so far and he will do it again now! Trump can only look on from his chair and he will have to prepare himself for a good deal of work in the coming frames.
TRUMP 0-2 SELBY (1-11*)
Back to a game of safeties now. Trump is the first to try and break the stalemate, but he screws up his plant and now the reds are scattered yet again.
It's not an easy angle for Selby but he makes it. He now has to cue over two reds to get the pink but it's nicely into the pocket. What can he do with this table?
TRUMP 0-2 SELBY (1-4*)
Lovely pot to start for Trump but he is without a nice potting option and plays a snooker instead. Selby plays it into the middle of the pack.
An uncharacteristic error from Trump as he taps the cue ball too gently and he fouls just millimetres away from the reds. Selby makes him take the shot again.
SENSATIONAL STUFF FROM THE JESTER
A look back at the stunning red, black, red plant from earlier in this frame.

TRUMP 0-2 SELBY
Unlucky for Trump with a double kiss on the yellow, and he leaves it open for Selby yet again. His answering rest shot is perfect and now he has a line for the green which will win him this frame.
Picture perfect from the Jester and he gets himself onto the brown as well. On for a second clearance and Selby takes the second frame.
TRUMP 0-1 SELBY (41-63*)
Selby is on for the clearance, the yellow is tricky as it rests against the top cushion. He plays the black, but he doesn't get an angle on the yellow much to Trump's relief. It was an excellent break regardless to keep the pressure on the reigning champ.
Trump leaves the yellow in a pottable position, but Selby's shot comes off the jaws. He has also sent the green up to the baulk cushion to further trouble Selby.
TRUMP 0-1 SELBY (41-55*)
Selby nearly pots the cue ball off the pink, but it comes off the jaw safely. He has to stretch over the brown now to pot a red into the right corner pocket, but he plays it well.
He plays a sharp hit onto the pink and he gets some luck on his next red as his overshot cue ball finds an angle on the corner pocket.
Last red now on this table and you have to think that Trump's accidental opening of the table will be the reason he loses this frame.
TRUMP 0-1 SELBY (41-12*)
Trump is picking up shot after shot, but gets himself a tricky rest shot on a red that leaves him short of the pink.
He decides to take it anyway and it's straight into the centre of the pocket. Trump has gotten away with this one, the cue ball covers the pink stop and he avoids snookering himself.
But he fluffs his next red, and with some wild cue action the cue ball flies into the pack and Selby will have an open table.
TRUMP 0-1 SELBY (13*-12)
Selby attempts a pacey red to the right corner pocket and it slams off the jaws. Trump now gets on the break with an opposite-handed shot.
It's then a superb pink into the right middle and with a nice bit of positioning to get onto the blue, he's made up the difference.
TRUMP 0-1 SELBY (0-12*)
The cannon on Selby's second blue hasn't quite worked out the way he wanted. He decides to take the safety.
TRUMP 0-1 SELBY (0-12*)
The reds are scattered across the table and after a bit of a safety stalemate, Selby picks out a long red to sink the first ball of the second frame.
He's on for the blue into the middle pocket now, and with how the reds are looking he'll find himself with options abound.
A COMPLETE SHOCKER
Trump looked comfortable from the onset of this opening frame with this stunner, but Selby has proven he won't be backing down. We're in for a brilliant show today!

TRUMP 0-1 SELBY
Selby is on for the clearance now, it would be an absolutely incredible steal should he make it. What a delight for the crowd at the Barbican, he makes a 77 clearance from over 50 points down to clinch the first frame!
TRUMP 0-0 SELBY (54-47*)
Selby takes a super thin angle on the penultimate red, it shakes between the jaws for a second to groans from the crowd, before miraculously dropping in.
He pots the blue to get himself up the table for the last red, and the cue ball continues to roll on to knock the red into an even more favourable position. It's perfection from the Englishman.
