Tuesday 14 January
Liverpool faced a tough test in the form of third-placed Nottingham Forest on Tuesday, and could only take a point after a fiercely competitive game.
Defending champions Manchester City travelled to west London to face Brentford, and despite Phil Foden putting them two goals to the good, they were pegged back by a dogged Bees side to end with a solitary point.
Elsewhere, Chelsea could only draw with Bournemouth while West Ham got their first win under Graham Potter.
Wednesday 15 January
Arsenal faced Tottenham in the 197th edition of the north London derby on Wednesday evening and came away with a crucial 2-1 win over their rivals that kept their title bid alive.
David Moyes suffered defeat to Aston Villa on his second debut as Everton manager, while Crystal Palace earned an important win away to Leicester.
Newcastle continued their impressive form as the electric Alexander Isak bagged a double to continue his hot streak in front of goal in a 3-0 win over Wolves.
Thursday 16 January
TNT Sports 1 and discovery+ will also be the place to catch Manchester United's match with strugglers Southampton on Thursday evening.
Coverage will get underway from 19:00 ahead of a 20:00 kick-off, with United currently in 13th after suffering a run of four games without a Premier League win.
The Saints are on a desperate hunt for their second win of the campaign and are currently rooted to the bottom of the table with six points.
The Thursday game on TNT Sports 2 and discovery+ is Ipswich Town's home match against Brighton, which gets underway at 19:30, with coverage starting at 18:30.
