GOOOAAALLL!!! Zaha's cross is turned beyond a helpless Lloris by Jan Vertonghen. The delivery was right in that corridor of uncertainty so he had to do something, but that will be embarrassing for the Belgian to watch on the replay. 1-0 Palace, completely against the run of play.

Alli attempts a spectacular volley from a pass over the top, but the pressure on him is good and the covering defender gets a crucial touch to put him off at the last second. He's a talent this boy. Just to think about trying that takes supreme confidence.

Palace break, but Wickham can't hold it up for long enough to allow the midfield time to get up in support and the loose ball is claimed by the ever-alert Lloris.

Son steps on to his right foot and unleashes a shot, but he is closed down quickly and his effort is blocked.

Still Spurs keep the ball, but there's nothing on as first Kane and Eriksen receive possession on the edge of the box with their back to goal.

Spurs are bossing this, but space is tight in the final third and it's going to take something special to break down the massed ranks of Palace defenders.
20'
A sloppy Lloris clearance invites pressure on the otherwise comfortable Spurs defence, but they just about manage to get enough numbers back to snuff out the threat. Zaha did everything he could to make Lloris pay for his error, but there wasn't enough support up to help the winger out.

Eriksen works he ball to Kane, who drops a shoulder and goes outside the full-back before testing the keeper with a shot from a very narrow angle. There was nothing else on, so the shot was the best option for Kane there.

Zaha breaks and is barged off the ball, but the officials see nothing wrong with the challenge and the winger is left on the floor to voice his protests.

The game has settled into the expected pattern, with Spurs dominating possession and Palace sitting deep to try and soak up the pressure. It's the right way for the hosts to go, although without the injured Bolasie they do lack some of their usual threat on the break.

Son picks the ball up in midfield, turns his marker and charges towards the box. He pulls the trigger when still at range, but his daisy-cutter of a striker slides narrowly wide.

Palace deal comfortably with the corner, but Spurs are beginning to get a foothold in the game and have been able to work Alli and Son into the pockets of space between the Palace defence and midfield. Pardew looks on concerned.

Trippier slices a cross that very nearly catches out Hennessey, but the keeper does well to back-pedal and tip over the bar.
