A high-tempo start from the Hammers. They’ve seen most of the ball in these opening few minutes and have hurried Chelsea whenever they Blues have been in possession.

Morrison and Nolan exchange a one-two as the former is almost put through on goal. Cahill reads the danger and is across quickly to clear the danger.

Sam Allardyce has opted for a striker-less system once more. Kevin Nolan is the furthest man forward, yet Carlton Cole starts on the bench. Goals have been hard to come by for the Hammers so far this season - will this match be any different?

Sam Allardyce on Ravel Morrison: "At the moment he's got to keep showing improvement with us and it's a long way between now and the World Cup squad being picked. He's going to have to continue his improvement to have any chance. It should be a dream of his, and can he make that dream a reality? It's an ultimate goal he's trying to reach. If you are dedicated enough in your time on and off the field, then you can get there."

Jose Mourinho: "We have to do better. Our fixtures until now were not the easiest ones, especially when we speak about matches away. We've played already against two title contenders (Manchester United and Tottenham, both draws). We've had difficult matches, but of course we want to do better and we need to get more points in the next five matches away than we did in the first five matches (away)."

Stoke's win has edged West Ham closer to the relegation zone in 17th. A win would lift them to the dizzy heights of 14th.

Arsenal are set to beat Southampton and go four points clear at the top. If Chelsea win tonight they will go third, level on points with Liverpool - they need to win by four goals to take second.

It's all over in all but one of the 3pm kick-offs, with wins for Stoke, Newcastle, Crystal Palace and Swansea.
