    25'
There is a severe lack of tempo to West Ham’s play at the moment. The home side are struggling to string more than five passes together.
    24'
Up until that goal, this game was offering very little. The Hammers have struggled in front of goal this season and now have it all to do if they are to get anything out of this match.
    23'
Horrible defending from West Ham again allows Chelsea in. Collison gives the ball away this time, as Eto’o bears down on goal to play in Lampard whose shot is scuffed and rolls into the arms of the keeper.
    22'
Mourinho is not happy that Jaaskelainen is still on the pitch. Foy was quick to award the penalty but was right not to send the keeper off – the penalty punishment enough.

LAMPARD SCORES! The Chelsea man smashes the ball down the middle, leaving Jaaskelainen no chance, to put the visitors in front.

PENALTY TO CHELSEA! Demel looks to knee the ball back to Jaaskelainen but leaves it short. The keeper rushes out but can only bring Oscar down.
    19'
CHANCE FOR WEST HAM! Nolan pulls away at the far past and is found by Downing. The West Ham captain heads towards goal but Azpilicueta makes the block, though it falls to Cole 8 yards from goal. The former Chelsea man swivels to shoot but loses his footing. So close.
    18'
Nolan challenges Cech in the air but only has eyes on the keeper. The whistle is blown and Chelsea are awarded the free-kick, but it wasn’t malicious. A good old-fashioned challenge.
    17'
Chelsea have the first shot of the day – Oscar blazing the ball over the bar by some distance.
    16'
Lampard’s lofted ball into the path of Eto’o has Jaaskelainen racing off his line. The keeper is soon back-tracking, though, as Collins’ header falls to the feet of Oscar 25 yards from goal. A lack of communication there.
    15'
A Chelsea corner is cleared at the near post which allows for West Ham to counter through Downing. Again, there’s no support and the former Liverpool man is tackled as he attempts to hold the ball up.
    14'
Morrison drops deep in the hope of creating something for his side. The young Englishman trades a one-two with Cole before doing the same with Nolan. He then slips and concedes possession.
    13'
This London derby has been relatively uneventful so far. The crowd inside Upton Park are unusually quiet.
    12'
Ivanovic needlessly gives the ball away deep in his own half but gets away with it as Downing passes to an offside Nolan.
    11'
Ramires attempts to run the ball out of his own half following a poor West Ham free kick. The Brazilian gets to the halfway line and is then dispossessed by Morrison.
    10'
The Hammers look to break. Downing is sent down the right after pulling away from Ivanovic and wants to cross. There’s nobody within 10 yards of the penalty area, however, and the West Ham winger is forced to play it back.
    9'
The visitors are growing into the game now. West Ham saw most of the ball in the opening minutes, but Jose Mourinho’s men now look to be taking control.
    8'
Great feet from Hazard. The winger cuts inside from the left, skipping past a number of challenges to play a cheeky reverse ball into the feet of Eto’o in the penalty area. The Cameroonian attempts to jink his way past Tomkins but is tackled.
    7'
The ball is played back out to Azpilicueta who beats Demel to cross. Ivanovic is still in the box and looks to be getting on the end of it, but Nolan tracks back to head clear.
    6'
Oscar's great ball down the left sets Hazard free. Eto'o sprints down the centre, in between the two West Ham central defenders and is almost found by the Belgian's incisive pass, but Collins cuts it out.
    5'
Cole almost puts Demel in danger with a short pass but the defender just about beats Eto’o to the ball and is able to clear his lines.
