The man Shane has a point.
26'
This is mesmeric stuff. Everton are having most success on their right wing, but success is a relative term in a game like this.
25'
Distin and Luiz head the ball out at the back post, but Chelsea are given the goal kick.
24'
Coleman with a throw on the right, and Naismith is just inside the box and his cross is put behind for a Mirallas corner.
22'
David Luiz gets a late challenge from Gareth Barry. He could have been booked but Howard Webb makes the wrong decision, for a change. Then Luiz has a go on Mirallas.
21'
Nothing happened.
20'
Neither team has had much success in getting behind the defence of the other side. With Schurrle, Hazard and Mata, surely Chelsea will manage at some point. As it is, they fall over each other in the Everton box.
19'
A Naismith cross is dealt with terribly by Luiz and Everton have the ball back. Gareth Barry then concedes a free kick halfway into Chelsea's half. It's grim stuff so far.
18'
Schurrle finds Eto'o forty yards from goal, and his shot is forty yards over. Eto'o is the worst player in the world, no question about that.
17'
Eto'o receives the ball with back to goal but is quickly robbed. Mirallas attempts to get pass Ivanovic, but with no success. This has been a poor game so far, something needs to happen for the sake of our souls.
16'
A great ball from Barry to Naismith nutmegs Naismith. Barry again has the ball and sends it out of play.
15'
Everton down the right - Jelavic makes progress, gives the ball to Naismith, who attempts a hook across the goal, which Cech pats behind. The corner misses everyone.
14'
Luiz outmuscles Jelavic near the halfway line. Again, Chelsea keep the ball at the back, until Luiz aims long for Mata, and Howards comes forward to catch.
13'
Everton launch the ball forward, but Luiz heads back to Cech. It might be that both clubs are settling for the draw already.
12'
A Mata cross is claimed, and Barkley breaks forward from one box towards the other, his pass to the left is intercepted by Ivanovic, but Mirallas is offside.
11'
Everton, on the left side of the pitch, spread the ball to the right. It's all oddly calm until Osman loses the ball.
10'
Nothing spectacular so far from either side. Ooh look, Leon Osman!
9'
Chelsea have the ball in the Everton half, content to keep the ball. Everton win the ball back, attack down the right for Naismith, who has space to cross. The ball finds Jelavic, but his header is not quite strong enough, or into the corner enough, to beat Cech.
7'
Eto'o moves from the centre to the right. Mata, Schurrle and Ivanovic combine until Eto'o is fairly barged off the ball. Moments later Gareth Barry slides in on Mata inside the box to win the ball.
6'
Everton look to keep the ball at the back, then launch a ball into the stands. The old and the new styles in contrast.

Chance! Ramires curls a lovely cross for Eto'o, between two defenders, to head firmly, but just over the bar.
