Real Madrid hope to sign Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain, while Galatasaray winger Wilfried Zaha could make a return to the Premier League in the summer. Elsewhere, both Manchester United and Liverpool are interested in appointing Brighton's Roberto De Zerbi as their new manager, and Paris Saint-Germain are looking at how to rebuild their side.

'This is his last season in Paris' - Laurens explains why Mbappe will leave PSG this summer

Real try to tempt Mbappe

Real Madrid are planning to offer Kylian Mbappe the club’s No. 10 shirt in an attempt to convince him to move from Paris Saint-Germain.
The striker is out of contract in the summer and is widely expected to leave on a free transfer.
The Sun reports: “Kylian Mbappe will be handed Real Madrid's legendary No. 10 jersey if he completes a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
“Mbappe, 25, has informed Paris Saint-Germain he won't trigger an option to extend his contract by another year and will thus leave in June as a free agent.
“Los Blancos are trying to sweeten the deal by offering him the same shirt number wore by past legends, such as Ferenc Puskas, Luis Figo and Clarence Seedorf.
“That means the France international will have to give up his signature No7 shirt, which he currently wears at PSG.”

Zaha could return to England

West Ham and Aston Villa are two sides who are keen on bringing back Wilfried Zaha to the Premier League.
The Mirror suggests that he might call time on his Galatasaray adventure as soon as this summer.
The paper explains: “Wilfried Zaha could return to the Premier League at the end of the season, barely 12 months on from departing.
“The winger brought his second spell with Crystal Palace to an end after eight years to join Galatasaray last summer. Zaha turned down a new deal with the Eagles that would have seen him commit for a further four years on a weekly wage of £200,000.
“The 31-year-old signed a three-year deal with the Turkish side and has made a noticeable impact. Zaha has scored nine times and provided three assists in 21 Super Lig appearances and featured in each of his side's European games across the Champions League and Europa League.”

Man Utd and Liverpool eye De Zerbi

The Mail reports that Manchester United and Liverpool are both considering Roberto De Zerbi as their next manager.
With Erik ten Hag’s future at Old Trafford uncertain and Jurgen Klopp to leave Liverpool in the summer, both clubs may need replacements.
The paper writes: “‘Find the next Roberto De Zerbi.’ Up and down the land, chairmen and chief executives have issued the same instruction to their recruitment teams thanks to the Italian’s eye-catching impact at Brighton.
“Dancing around his technical area with his natty black jumpers, spiky hair and immaculately tended beard, De Zerbi has bewitched the boardrooms of the Premier League since he landed in England in September 2022.
“There will be a change of manager at Liverpool this summer and very possibly at Manchester United too, with Dan Ashworth poised to take control of the football structure. De Zerbi has admirers at both clubs as well as overseas. His style would be perfect for Barcelona and the big hitters back home in Italy love him too.”

PSG look for summer signings

Xavi Simons could return to Paris Saint-Germain as the French club look to rebuild once Kylian Mbappe leaves.
Victor Osimhen, Rafael Leao, Mohamed Salah, Bernardo Silva and Joshua Kimmich are also under consideration.
Spanish paper Marca writes: “PSG will face a very different scenario in the new season than in recent years: playing without Kylian Mbappe and his decision to leave the club will lead to a deeper restructuring than simply replacing one player with another.
“Kylian's departure in any case leaves a gap to fill. In Paris they believe in players like Zaire-Emery to fill the void of franchise player of the house, and to a lesser extent Barcola. They are also already thinking about the return of Xavi Simons, now at RB Leipzig.
“But beyond the possible return of Simons, according to L'Equipe, as of today, the best-placed striker on PSG's agenda is Victor Osimhen, who has a contract with Napoli until 2026.
“In addition to the Nigerian, who Luis Campos has already brought to Lille, they also have in mind the name of Mohamed Salah of Liverpool. And Rafael Leao, from AC Milan.
“In that idea of reinforcing more lines in addition to the forward line, one of PSG's old desires is Bernardo Silva, who extended his contract with Manchester City until 2026 last summer, a few months in which his name was already linked with the Parisian team. Joshua Kimmich, according to L'Equipe, could be another option.”
