Kylian Mbappe was the star of the show for Paris Saint-Germain once again as his two goals sealed a memorable comeback win over Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League. Mbappe's brace alongside goals from Ousmane Dembele and Vitinha booked a semi-final meeting with Borussia Dortmund. Glenn Hoddle is backing the French champions to reach the final at Wembley on June 1.

Mbappe scores ‘ice cool, clinical’ penalty to complete PSG turnaround at Barca

Rio Ferdinand waxed lyrical about Kylian Mbappe and believes the Paris Saint-Germain frontman is "blessed from above" after scoring twice in a superb 4-1 win over Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final second leg.
The writing looked on the wall when Raphinha put Barca 1-0 in front on the night and 4-2 ahead on aggregate, but Mbappe’s brace and a goal each from Ousmane Dembele and Vitinha sealed a famous result.
“I just think some people seem like they are blessed from above, that this is your time and it feels like that for Mbappe,” Ferdinand told TNT Sports.
“For his second goal, that's not falling to anyone else, but it falls to him because he is that guy.
“There is going to be a moment over the two legs [in the semi-final] where Mbappe has got to come to the fore."

Hoddle: 'Don't see' Dortmund beating PSG

Meanwhile, Glenn Hoddle looked ahead to PSG’s upcoming semi-final showdown with Borussia Dortmund and is backing the French champions to reach the Wembley final on June 1.
Dortmund booked their place in the last four of Europe’s premier cup competition for the first time in 11 years with a dramatic 4-2 win of their own to secure a 5-4 aggregate victory.
“Looking at what I've seen tonight, I can only see Paris winning this tie,” Hoddle said.
“They were good tonight [Dortmund], but it was an open game and I don't see Paris losing that tie.

“PSG are a better-balanced team in defence and attack. They've got the best player in the world playing for them.
“And the question was ‘is this the last time we'll see him playing in the Champions League with a Paris Saint-Germain shirt?’
“Well, no, the good thing for football is that they're still there and in the semi-final. But I think they'll get to the final now.”
