Hello and welcome to our minute-by-minute commentary from Stadio Giuseppe Meazza where AC Milan entertain Fiorentina in Serie A.

Muntari gives away a silly free-kick some 25 yards out and right of centre for a foul on Ryder.

Balotelli looks to exchange passes with Kaka but Ambrosini steps in to avert the danger and clear.

Kaka goes short from the corner again and the ball finds its way to De Jong but his shot from 30 yards is blocked.

Borja Valero swings the ball into the box but it is cleared – Milan counter-attack with Abate. A corner for the hosts.

De Jong snaps in a challenge on Rossi and that’s a free-kick. Borja Valero over it.

Balotelli leads a break forward before finding Kaka, who, in turn, sets for Muntari but his shot is scuffed.

Fiorentina with a spot of possession now before going long – poor there though as it carries to Gabriel.

This has been a curious game thus far – Milan are probably just about the better side but Fiorentina are cutting through them with ease whenever they get the ball.

Milan win the ball high up the pitch but Balotelli elects to shoot from fully 35 yards with colleagues better placed either side of him.

Kaka swings over the corner and Zapata really should do better at the near post with the header.

Kaka wins another corner having been found by Constant.

Ryder Matos flies down the left before squaring but Gabriel gets a hand to it with Borja Valero lurking.

Balotelli looks to whip the ball to the far post but it is blocked by Aquilani – the effort had some power behind in but it was too close to the Fiorentina player.

Ambrosini takes Balotelli clean out down the left – that’s a free-kick in a dangerous spot. The former Manchester City man is over it.

Aquilani looks neat in the middle of the pitch and he swings the ball wide to Borja Valero but his cross is punched clear by Gabriel.

Constant marauds forward before winning a corner. Kaka slings it in but it is too close to Neto, who punches clear.

Muntari again gets the ball in some space and again he draws aim but it is always rising. There are groans of derision from the home faithful as the effort rises into the stands.

The corner is worked short before being woefully over-hit as it evades all and sundry to drop to Tomovic on the edge.

Muntari gets the ball in a pocket of space left of the box but he ignores the run of Constant and shoots. Savic blocks for the corner.

Milan, after that early run of possession, have dropped deep and are inviting their visitors on to them.
