Brilliant from Spurs, Lamela into Kane, who touches off first-time for Eriksen, who plays him back in first-time. Suddenly, Kane has a sight of goal down the right of the box, and he absolutely spanks a lovely shot that crashes off the inside of the far post.

Eriksen is booked for a foul, but I didn't see upon whom it was perpetrated.

Excellent from Lacazette, who peels off to flick the corner towards the far post, and Kolasinac and Aubameyang are both there! Kolasinac lunges first, perhaps taking it away from yerman, and the ball lopes wide.

As I was saying ... Spurs stand off Arsenal and allow a cross which Torreira touches on for Guendouzi ... whose low shot is brilliantly turned away by Lloris!

I wonder if Mauricio Pochettino is thinking about bringing on Alli; neither Sissoko nor Lamela is doing very much.

I'm not certain as to what Guendouzi does.

Nice from Pepe, intimating the shot then dashing outside Rose, who sees him into touch.

Nice from Lamela, squaring Luiz up down the right and snapping back to Son, who again opens his body; his shot hits Xhaka and goes behind for a corner which comes to nothing.

Arsenal knock it about the back nicely, moving the ball around Spurs' press. But a loose touch from Torreira means they have to start again.

Lacazette feeds the marauding Kolasinac, and he digs out a decentish cross from the by-line, but can't find anyone with it.

The floodlights come on; are these the first daytimers of the season?

Arsenal move it quickly from the off before Kolasinac swipes a cross so poorly it fails to go out of play. This allows Pepe to stand up a cross, which Lacazette heads down for Lloris to save.

Strange and entertaining half, that. Arsenal had most of the ball but struggled to do much with it, while Spurs, who also struggled, looked to have the more incisive strikers. The second 45 should be a belter.

Arsenal 1-2 Tottenham Hotspur (Lacazette) Spurs can't get the ball away as Arsenal fly at them like rabid dogs, and when Pepe gets on it, he uses the outside of his foot to square for Lacazette, who takes a touch on the run, weaves past his man with a second brilliant touch, then absolutely welts a tremendous finish into the roof from a narrowish angle before posing like he's just made it 67-2. Here we go!
