Arsenal salvage a point right at the death, but it wasn't nearly enough for the home fans who booed vociferously after the full time whistle. Southampton were so close to a big three points. They had the chances to put the game to bed, but spurned them. Will Emery survive this?
FULL TIME: Arsenal 2-2 Southampton
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Arsenal 2 (96 mins - Alexandre Lacazette) Southampton 2. It's a late, late equaliser! It's Lacazette who has grabbed a second, but will that be enough to ease the pressure on Emery? Martinelli got down the left wing, crossed for Lacazette who controlled and then stabbed a finish into the back of the net!

How haven't Southampton scored?! What a chance! That was a sitter! Boufal dribbled along the byline and cut it back for Djenepo, but he somehow managed to stick it wide of the near post!
The Arsenal fans have turned against Emery here. There are chants of 'sacked in the morning' and indeed it's difficult to see how he will possibly survive this should this scoreline hold.
Tierney blocks! Long managed to dig out a cut back from the byline for Boufal, but Tierney got across in time to make the block before it could even reach Leno. That was a chance.
There were reports over the international break that Arsenal would give Emery a further six games to turn things around, but this would be a catastrophic result for the Spaniard. Would he survive?
Guendouzi was shown a yellow card for protesting about Southampton's persistent fouling. That's six Arsenal yellow cards for the day.

There will be SEVEN minutes of stoppage time played at the end of the match. There's still time for Arsenal!
Cleared off the line! That should have been a third Southampton goal! Djenepo was set up by Redmond, he beats Leno with his low shot, but Willock was back on the line to make the clearance! That could have been it!
Southampton's third and final change sees them throw on Boufal for the final few minutes.

Ozil shot tipped over! McCarthy makes the save to deny the German playmaker from finding the back of the net and then Long gets in behind the Arsenal defence, but his pass flashes across goal.
... and the second change sees the youngster Martinelli also thrown on for the Gunners.

There's a lot of energy and drive from Arsenal as they search for an equaliser, but it all feels a little desperate. They are showing very little composure which isn't helping their cause.
Just wide! There was plenty of power on the shot from Armstrong, but he shoots wide of the target when he really should have tested Leno in the Arsenal goal from that sort of distance.
Bertrand receives a yellow card for what the referee sees as time wasting.
