West Brom get the game underway, kitted out in their usual home strip. Stoke are in their change black kit with green trim.

It's absolutely bucketing it down at the Hawthorns. It's cold, wet and windy... this has got a Pulis (West Brom) win written all over it!

Stoke have named an unchanged side, which means the front four of Bojan, Afellay, Shaqiri and Arnautovic continue. They've been terrific in recent weeks against teams who come out and leave space in behind, but can they create chances against a deep-lying defence like West Brom's? That has been the Potters' weakness this season so far.

West Brom make two enforced changes, with Lambert and Gardner replacing the injured Anichebe and Olsson. There's still no Rondon due to injury, which is a big blow for the Baggies. Want-away Berahino is on the bench.

The last meeting between these teams was a memorable one. Both Afellay and Adam were sent off in the first half for Stoke, with West Brom running out 1-0 winners thanks to Rondon's solitary strike.

West Brom are more 'Stoke' than Stoke City these days... and that's almost entirely down to the influence of Tony Pulis. Since his departure from the Potteries the club has undergone a transformation into a free-flowing passing side, whereas the Baggies of today rely primarily on physicality in midfield and strength in the air at the back.
