Hello all and welcome to our LIVE coverage of the Premier League clash between Crystal Palace and Aston Villa from Selhurst Park.

Palace have been all over Villa in these opening stages and are looking to attack at every opportunity. Neil Warnock will be delighted with what he has seen so far.

Zaha goes down in the box under a challenge from Westwood, but the referee waves play on. The winger has looked a real threat every time he has touched the ball.

Palace have the ball in the back of the net as Dann fires home, but luckily for Villa, Gayle had already been ruled offside after latching on to a spilt ball from Guzan.

It's the Eagles who look the most threatening, though, in these early stages, with Zaha doing very well down the right to beat Cissokho before firing a low cross into the box, which is cleared.

A fairly fast-tempo start to this one as both sides do their best to not allow the opposition to have any time on the ball.

Should Villa manage to claim a win tonight, it will be the first time they would have done so at Selhurst Park since September 1980, having lost five and drawn six of their last 11 visits to South London in all competitions.

Palace and Villa met twice last season in the Premier League, with the Eagles coming out on top on both occasions with 1-0 wins. Either side would take a result like that this evening to edge them away from the relegation zone...

Villa will be delighted to have Benteke back in their starting line-up tonight, given that they are the lowest-scoring team in the Premier League this season with just seven goals. What's more, only three players have managed to score for them this term in all competitions - Gabby Agbonlahor, Andreas Weimann and Joe Cole.

Villa boss Paul Lambert on Benteke's return from suspension: "In my own opinion, when he's on his game I think he's one of the best in Europe, let alone in Britain. I've seen some brilliant strikers in my time and, when that guy's on his game, he's certainly up there. So that's a massive boost to us. I think his performance against Spurs indicated that he was getting back (to full match-fitness). He's still going to be match-fitness down because he didn't play for a number of months, but against Spurs I thought he was fantastic for us. He's a top player and if he keeps progressing the way he's going then we'll see where his career goes."

Palace boss Neil Warnock: "Villa will come to Palace knowing one win can turn their season around. We have to be on guard for that. The teams around you are the ones you want to pick up points from in the bottom half of the table. But Sunderland showed (in a 0-0 draw with Chelsea), that you can take points off anybody on a good day - take each game as it comes and try and get the most out of it."

Palace and Villa head into this game in 14th and 16th position respectively and both sit on 13 points, two clear of the relegation zone. Palace, though, will be looking for a second victory in three games, while Villa have not won in their last nine - since a 1-0 victory over Liverpool on September 13.

Palace make two changes to the side that drew 1-1 with Swansea, with Wilfried Zaha and James McArthur coming in for Joe Ledley and Jason Puncheon. Villa, meanwhile, make one change from the team that drew 1-1 with Burnley as Christian Benteke returns from suspension in place of Carlos Sanchez.
