A minute left, and nothing is happening to worry Liverpool or excited Southampton.

Ramirez is tackled and Henderson can't quite play the ball in for Sterling. Southampton come forward on the left but Skrtel wins the ball on the left. There are for minutes of added time to come.

Aspas is fouled on the halfway line. Liverpool are content to keep the ball in defence, under a distinct lack of pressure.

This game is finished. Southampton just don't have any clue.

Suarez wastes a chance, and as Stoke come forward Lallana is hacked by Steven 'Steven' Gerrard, who is booked for his trouble.

Change for Liverpool as Sturridge is replaced by Aspas.

Wanywama kicks Suarez's thigh, and is booked. He's fuming, which is witless. It's an obvious booking.

Ramirez curls in a free kick from deep, but Fonte heads it wide at the back post.

Flanagan's clearance is charged down by Lallana, but its out for a goal kick. Southampton have had 60% of the ball and scored 0% of the goals so far.

Mignolet has been shamelessly wasting time at goal kicks, which is an oddly cynical move from a team that otherwise - but for the occasional dive - are fairly well behaved these days.

Rodriguez sends a speculative shot well wide after cutting in from the left.

Changes for Southampton. Lambert is replaced by Gallagher, and Wanyama comes on for Cork.

Suarez runs onto another through ball and drags his shot just wide.

Boruc has to save Suarez's corner before it creeps in at the near post. Suarez has another attempt and Boruc punches it as far as Henderson who shoots wide.

Steven 'Steven' Gerrard has space outside the box and blasts a great low shot towards the corner, but Boruc saves and concedes a corner.

Suarez robs Fonte, breaks towards goal, and instead of shooting he tries to find Sturridge lurking at the back post, but his pass is blocked. Henderson then receives the ball in box and blasts over.

Henderson is booked for pulling Shaw back on the left wing.
