United look like they have much much more intent starting the second half. Kagawa finds Hernandez in the middle but it's knocked away and Norwich break but the ball runs away to De Gea.

Cross or shot by Redmond it's unclear which goes just wide. Commentator criticses him but I don't think it's that bad - he should have looked for the cross rather than try to have a shot if that's what it was

So it's Kagawa on the left, Young on the right and Welbeck sitting in behind Hernandez to try and give another option. Young goes on a run and into space and has a shot but it rises over the top.

Welbeck is involved for the first time picks out Young and there's a lovely cross in but Kagawa can't get to it and falls over and handballs.

Redmond has a shot from just outside but it's from an accumstomed position for him and he fires left.

Norwich get the second half under way.

United have taken Giggs off and brought Welbeck on as a different attacking option

At Half time - the stats are. MUFC have had 58.9 of the possession but Norwich have had 7 shots to United's 3.

PEEP PEEP PEEP = That's the end of the first half and although United have had the majority of the possession, Hughton will be the happier manager as Norwich have exerted a lot of pressure on MUFC's defence. Evra has had a shocker at left back. United have received two yellow cards and Norwich one.

Martin gives Evra the slip who cuts it back to Snodgrass who sets himself but drags it wide - that's a squandered chance.

Norwich corner whipped in but not accurately and it's taken away by Evra. Norwich throw in on the right is worked nicely by Johnson and Hoolahan but there's a good tackle by Smalling allowing the ball to be knocked back to De Gea.

There will be 3 minutes of stoppage time. And Norwich are exerting pressure in the box again with Snodgrass and Hoolahan exploiting the weakness in United's defence on the left. They just couldn't get the space to get a shot in

Hoiked forward by Bennett but cleared by Evans from full back and that allows fro a United break and they've found Hernandez who is palyed onside by Bassong and there's an actual shot on target by MUFC.

Free kick for Norwich but it doesn't find the head of any of their playes. Evans bangs head with one of his own and he's down on the ground whilst the medical staff ask him who the Prime Minister is

Back down the other end now and there's pressure again from Hoolahan and Snodgrass. United break and Hernandez goes a bit early and is given off side.

Smalling drags his shot from outside the box to the right of the post. It was a pretty weak strike

ANOTHER CHANCE by Norwich - Hoolahan fires in on target. United break quickly. Giggs and Kagawa break quckly but they can't pick anyone out and still no real shot on target

Smalling tries to nip in behind Olsson but it runs away. United are finding it really difficult to get the ball into Hernandez. Jeez they miss Rooney

Lovely ball into Kagawa and then one into Giggs but eventually the shot from Carrick is fired over the top. That's the first real pressure United have put on Ruddy

Redmond takes on Smalling on the left - a nice battle between the two of them in that one on one. Smalling eventually comes out on top knocking the ball off teh back. Corner in and Bassong's header is comfortably taken by De Gea.

Snodgrass's cross is flicked away by Smalling. There's a mess in the box and it's cleared - United try to counter quicjkly but it runs straight to Ruddy.
