First booking goes to Jay Rodriguez. He tried to pick up a loose ball in the middle of the park but Sidwell got there first and was scythed down by the forward.

Holtby releases Reither down the right. He gets to the byline and whips a wicked cross in but no-one ran to the far post where the ball dropped and Saints get a throw on the far side.

Sidwell fouls in the middle of the park but Saints dont get anywhere with the free kick.

Lovely football from Saints as shaw plays it in to Lambert. He plays a one-two on the edge of the area with Lalllana who gets it out to Chambers. His cross is cut out and they have a corner which comes to nothing.

Shaw gets Southampton going again but good work from Holtby stops him in his tracks and Southamtpon have to build from the back again.

Wanyama wastes possession with a big long pass into the corner. But there was no-one chasing it.

Fulham do well to hold their shape and win the ball back from Saints. Bit of a midfield battle at the moment.

Chaos at the back as Rodriguez swings one in from the left. It comes off Burns' shin and Stekelenburg in goal fumbles at it. Hangeland hacks clear.

Fulham corner after a wicked cross from Bent is put behind by Chambers. Holtby finds Burn at the far post who nods towards the top corner but it just goes over. Never looked like going in.

Parker bursts through the midfield and gets to the edge of the area and has attempted a lob over Boruc in goal. That was audacious to say the least.

Holtby's first involvement and he tries to pick out Bent but the striker wanted it in behind. Saints mop up but Holtby isn't happy with his striker.

Fulham try and get the ball down and play but good pressure from the Saints midfield sees Sidwell overhit a square pass to Richardson. Fulham get it back quickly though.

Saints just starting to control the ball at the moment. Lallana does well on the right to cut the ball back for Chambers in the box but he can't control and Fulham clear.

Parker tries to release Bent but he is offside. Rodriguez then flys down the wing but Reither does well to defend and clear for Fulham.

Scrappy start to the game with neither side really getting a hold of it. Fulham defend a few long balls and Richardson now has it at full-back.

And referee Kevin Friend toots his whistle and gets us underway. Fulham kick off shooting from left to right.

The players gather round the centre circle to pay tribute to former Fulham director and club historian Dennis Turner who died last week.
