A warning for Arsenal fans: Infostrada tell us that the Gunners have failed to win on two of the past three occasions they have been leading at half-time in the Premier League match.

HALF-TIME. Arsenal ahead thanks to goals from Gervinho and Arteta, while Yakubu replied for Blackburn. The home side are inferior in all areas of the pitch and Arsenal's midfield trio of Ramsey, Song and Arteta are in full control.

We will have a minimum of two added minutes.

Poor from Gervinho. Arshavin plays the ball inside for the Ivorian and when he drives into the box he has the option of slipping a quick pass to the unmarked Van Persie. He chooses not to, despite Van Persie demanding the ball, and instead sees his shot blocked by Dann. Poor decision making.

More fine work from Arteta as he wins possession. He has had a fantastic game today in the Arsenal midfield.

Arsenal have a 2 v 1 break on but Gervinho's searching cross-field pass for Arshavin has too much on it and momentum is lost.

You know things are getting bad when even the dogs want you out.

It is absolutely teeming down with rain at Ewood Park by the way. A cross from Santos is deflected towards Koscielny but he can't control the ball.

Gervinho looks to find Arshavin with a ball to the edge of the six-yard box but Gael Givet comes across to clear for a throw.

Arteta is really enjoying himself now. The Spaniard lifts a pass over the top of the Blackburn defence for Van Persie to run onto but Robinson collects.

Here is a good stat for you: Mikel Arteta now has as many goals at Ewood Park this season (two) as the whole Blackburn team combined.

That was a nice goal by Arsenal but why on earth was Ramsey allowed so much space so close to the Blackburn box? That was awful defending from the home side.

GOAL! 2-1 Arsenal! Arteta, who scored against Blackburn in his final game for Everton, gets his first goal for Arsenal! Ramsey is in acres of space when being played in by a fine ball from Sagna and he cuts back to Arteta, who lifts the ball into the roof of the net.

Sagna is back up and running and Robinson prepares to launch another free-kick into the Arsenal box. Actually he goes short and Szczesny deals well with the cross from Hoilett.

Sagna is down in pain after a hefty, but fair, challenge from Dann. He will require treatment.

More unconvincing stuff from Arsenal as they concede a corner. Samba then heads over the bar from the set-piece when beating Koscielny to the ball.

Aaron Ramsey brings down Hoilett after the Blackburn man threatens to accelerate away. That was a clever foul.

Over the past couple of seasons Arsenal really have proved themselves to be hopelessly inept at offside.
