Marcelo shows great skill and awareness to get to the byline, but he can't find a teammate with his cut-back, and the ball is blocked for a corner kick, which eventually comes to nothing.

So Real Madrid are within just over 10 minutes of making it 20 straight wins in all competitions, which would be extending the Spanish record for successive wins.

Ronaldo is now being booed by the home fans. This hasn't been his night in the slightest, but as I was saying, I bet the winger still ends this game with a goal. It wouldn't be a Real win without a Cristiano goal.

That was slightly harsh on Ronaldo. The Portuguese winger has only committed one foul, but has been booked by the referee for bundling over an Almeria defender. No nonsense from the official.

Benzema looks to have gotten in behind the Almeria defence, but Ximo recovers really well to make a challenge on the French striker and come away cleanly with the ball.

Oh dear. This time Ronaldo completely fluffs a volley from the edge of the penalty area, much to the delight of the home fans. This hasn't been his night so far. Bet he still scores.
