That last move demonstrated the danger Espanyol have on the attack. This shouldn't be a walkover for Barcelona. Espanyol pose their own threat in the final third.

That was almost an Espanyol goal! Some nice build-up play releases Garcia to the byline, who smashes a low drive across the face of goal. But Pique and Mascherano manage to make a clearance.

Rakitic sends a cross to the back post looking for Suarez, who is set to head home, but Alvaro recovers in time to make an interception with his head and send the ball behind for a corner.

Of course, Barcelona might find it tought to get past Casilla, who has been so impressive for Espanyol in the last few months that he has broken his way into the Spanish national squad.

As you might expect Barcelona have started the better of the two teams, with Espanyol chasing the game from the start. But the away side look well organised at the back so far.

Barcelona will be looking to close the gap on Liga leaders Real Madrid tonight. A win tonight will put them within two points of Carlo Ancelotti's side, who beat Celta Vigo 3-0 last night.

Espanyol have won just once at the Camp Nou in the last 30 years, so the omens are not good for them this afternoon. Although players like Caicedo and Garcia can cause them problems.
