Bournemouth defended uncharacteristically well, but struggled to create chances and 2-1 is an accurate reflection of the patterns of play. City will play Burnley in round four.
One last chance for Bournemouth to send the ball into the City box. Walker clears.
Mahrez runs down a blind alley, but Bournemouth can't keep the ball.
S. Cook also booked. De Bruyne looks okay.

Four added minutes.
Ofobohr makes a timely interception and continues his run forward, ending up on the left flank, but his cross is cut out and City clear.
Zemura wins a set piece which Bournemouth can pump into the box, and Surridge has a free header when it gets there, but he misses the target.
The visitors need to get more bodies around Surridge.
Cruel for Bournemouth, even if the goal was coming.
