QUITE THE SIGHT
Though so far, Athletic have been the brightest.

BIG CHANCE
That could easily have been the opener for Athletic!
It's a well-worked move as Gomez beats Casemiro to a deep cross and cuts it back for Berenguer. But after setting himself nicely with his first touch, the winger arrows over from inside the penalty area. That's a let-off for United!

WELL WON BACK
Athletic are enjoying some early possession, though any time they make it into the final third, United's defenders and midfielders pounce on them, smothering the danger and coming away with the ball, much to the delight of this boisterous home crowd.
4'
EARLY HALF-CHANCE
Fernandes plays a free-kick short and then immediately gets it back. He wastes no time in swinging in a right-footed cross from out wide, and Lindelof meets it, but the Swede can't make a solid connection.

HOME COMFORTS
United have never lost a home game by three or more goals in Europe, while they are unbeaten in 17 matches at Old Trafford in the Europa League.

KICK-OFF
We are under way at Old Trafford, where the atmosphere is electric!

FIREWORKS
The pre-match light show is done and dusted. The smoke is now settling over the pitch, but the huge Tifo displayed in the stands is on show. It's quite the sight!
The teams are now out, and kick-off is just moments away.
There were plenty of Athletic club fans in the city earlier on, and United will know they can't afford any slip-ups, even with a 3-0 lead.

RUBEN'S WARNING
United might hold a 3-0 advantage, but Amorim is wary of Athletic's threat.

AROUND THE GROUNDS
There are three other European matches on tonight, and you can follow all of them live with us.
In the other Europa League semi-final second leg, Spurs take on Bodo/Glimt inside the Arctic Circle. Ange Postecoglou's team lead 3-1 on aggregate, so there is a real chance of an all-English final.
In the UEFA Conference League, Chelsea have one foot in the final following their big first-leg win over Djurgarden, though it is rather tighter between Fiorentina and Real Betis, with the Spanish team holding a 2-1 aggregate lead.

‘I EXPECT UNITED TO WIN COMFORTABLY’
More from TNT Sports pundit Owen Hargreaves.
On the atmosphere: "It feels so positive [at Old Trafford]. And to be fair, the Bilbao fans too — they must believe, even though they’re massive underdogs.
On what United need to do: "Just score first, it’s as simple as that — then you know, it’s completely finished. Let’s see. But with the energy in here, and a European final awaiting, I expect United to win the game comfortably."

VALVERDE SPEAKS
The Athletic coach told TNT Sport: "History is against us, with 3-0 in the first leg. This is the most important game of the season — to play in a final. It is our chance, our moment. For United, too, this is a big opportunity for them to save their season, but we will try."
It’s worth remembering that the final will be played at Athletic’s home, the iconic San Mames Stadium.

HARGREAVES WANTS GARNACHO TO STAY
Former United midfielder Owen Hargreaves is on punditry duty for TNT Sports today, and he has had his say on Garnacho.
"I think he’s really special. I think he’s a man for the big moments and he suits this club. The problem is Ruben’s system suits number 10s. Alejandro is better when he’s running at people," Hargreaves said.
"I hope he stays. He’s too good of a player to let him leave. I would never want to see the club sell him or Mainoo. The club has a big decision to make but I hope they don’t sell him."

GARNACHO EXCLUSIVE
Ahead of the match, Alejandro Garnacho sat down with TNT Sports.
"You can be out for that game [v Man City], but I know if I work, and I try to do the right things, I'm going to play because I know the player I am.
"I just need to do this, and I did. So I think now we are doing better things, and if we win the competition, it will be very nice for us.
"When there are good moments, everyone is happy about it. When it's difficult, you have to work harder. That's what I did, what I have to do to be here and to play for this club."

NO CHANGE
There’s no changes from Amorim compared to the team that started in Bilbao last week, as Man Utd look to get the job done with the minimum of fuss.
Captain Bruno Fernandes — who Amorim this week labelled as one of the best players in world football — scored twice in the first leg, and he is part of a front three alongside Garnacho and Hojlund.
Ernesto Valverde, meanwhile, is without the Williams brothers and Sancet, and he has gone with a much-changed team, with five alterations in total.

AMORIM SPEAKS

19:17
HELLO AND WELCOME
We’ll be bringing you all the action as it happens from the second leg of the UEFA Europa League semi-final between Manchester United and Athletic Club.
United hold a 3-0 lead after last week’s first leg, in which they stunned Ernesto Valverde’s team.
And with Athletic missing key trio Inaki Willians, Nico Williams and Oihan Sancet, the Red Devils will be confident of getting over the line and into a final against either Tottenham Hotspur or Bodo/Glimt.
