REPORT: RODRI RETURNS AS CITY BOOST TOP-FIVE BID
A 3-1 home win over Bournemouth leaves City in pole position to secure Champions League football next term.
Pep Guardiola was convinced his side would respond to their FA Cup final defeat and secure the win to move them within a whisker of securing the top five finish they crave.
There was no goal for De Bruyne in his final home match, but the Etihad paid tribute and also got to see Rodri return to action for the first time since suffering an ACL injury back September.
FA Cup winners Crystal Palace defeated Wolves 4-2 in the other Premier League game played on Tuesday evening.

WHERE DOES HARRY MAGUIRE STAND ON BEING PLAYED AS A STRIKER?
Pretty tall is the obvious answer, but the England central defender will answer the call if needed.
"The manager has me dribbling every day in training up and down the wing," he told reporters at the San Mames. "No, I found myself on the wing against Bilbao and managed to put a good cross in and Casa [Casemiro] scored the goal.
"In the Europa League game [when they defeated Lyon in the last eight] the manager asked me to go up front in the later minutes of the game, but hopefully tomorrow night I will not be going up front.
"I don't want to be going up front and chasing the game, I want to be defending a lead from my position in defence.
"I am always happy to help, but also more than happy to play in my favoured position."
