Ella Toone said England’s quarter-final opponents Sweden "should be scared" after The Lionesses thrashed Wales 6-1 to reach the last eight at Euro 2025.
There were six different goalscorers for England in St Gallen as they secured second spot in Group D, with France finishing top thanks to a 5-2 victory over Netherlands.
The result sealed Wales' fate at the bottom of the group, without a point to their name, while England will now face Group C winners Sweden in Zurich on Saturday as they continue their title defence.
Toone, who scored England’s second goal of the evening and set up another two, told ITV: "We were really good.
"It is always hard to play against a team that sits in a low block. It was nice we got an early goal in the first half, and we enjoyed the game."
Looking ahead to the last-eight clash with Sweden, she said: "It is going to be a difficult game. We watched them the other night, and they were really good. We need to be on our best game.
"I think they should be scared."
Sweden took maximum points from Group C, securing top spot with an emphatic 4-1 victory over Germany on Saturday.
England boss Sarina Wiegman echoed Toone’s expectation of a difficult game at the weekend, saying Sweden would be "a hard team to beat".
She said: "They're always a team, they're always very powerful, they have speed up front on the counter-attack. It is a hard team to beat.
"They have done well in the group. We will see and we will get ready. Recover from this one, and then we go again."

'We dominated' - Wiegman pleased with ruthless display
It was Georgia Stanway who opened the scoring for England against Wales, converting from the spot inside the opening 15 minutes after being tripped inside the area by Carrie Jones.
Toone doubled England’s lead just seven minutes later, striking home on the rebound, before Lauren Hemp’s header made it three.
Alessia Russo tucked home from close range just before the interval to score her first goal of the tournament and complete a ruthless first half from Wiegman’s side.
Wales survived the opening 28 minutes of the second period, but Beth Mead made it five following her half-time introduction.
Hannah Cain scored a superb consolation for Wales, who were making their first appearance in a major tournament, but Aggie Beever-Jones headed home to restore the five-goal margin late on.

Wiegman was pleased with England’s performance in St Gallen and, more generally, how they have responded to losing their opening game against France with heavy wins over Netherlands and Wales.
Discussing the positives from Sunday’s game, she said: "Of course, that we won and scored six goals.
"Big parts of the game we dominated, and it was very clear we were going to win the game. A very good game."
The 55-year-old added: "We knew ahead of this tournament that this group was hard. When you lose the first game, there is a massive urgency to win the other two.
"So it gave us a lot of learning again with the team, and it brought us together that loss [against France]."
