The 2025 FA Community Shield between Premier League champions Liverpool and FA Cup winners Crystal Palace will be broadcast exclusively live on TNT Sports and discovery+.
The curtain raiser of the 2025/26 campaign will see Palace return to Wembley Stadium on August 10, less than three months on from their FA Cup final victory over Manchester City.
The south London side edged out a 1-0 victory over Pep Guardiola’s men in May, thanks to Eberechi Eze’s goal, to win their first-ever major trophy and qualify for the UEFA Europa League.
As for Liverpool, they return to the venue of last season’s Carabao Cup final defeat against Newcastle United, with the Magpies winning 2-0 in March to claim their first major domestic trophy since 1955.
But Arne Slot still managed to claim silverware in his first season at Anfield, wrapping up the Premier League title with four games to spare and finishing the season 10 points clear of Arsenal in second.
Liverpool and Palace met on the final day of last season's Premier League, with the sides playing out a 1-1 draw at Anfield before the Reds' trophy lift.

With Slot appearing to strengthen his title-winning side over the summer, notably with the expected arrival of Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Wirtz, he will be hoping his side can start the new campaign strongly with a first Community Shield title in three years.
They last lifted the trophy in 2022, thanks to a 3-1 victory over City, who will be absent from the fixture for the first time in five years.
Having won the Premier League for four consecutive seasons between 2021 and 2024, Guardiola’s side had become a regular feature in the season opener.
But, despite their dominance of domestic football, they only picked up the trophy in one of those four years, beating Manchester United on penalties in 2024.
