KHUSANOV FACES 'TOUGHEST IN HIS CAREER'
TNT Sports pundit Joleon Lescott has given his thoughts on the job lying ahead of young City defender Abdukodir Khusanov.
"It will definitely be his biggest test, even if he was an established veteran against Vinicius Jr," Lescott said. "I can see him out wide in full-back areas because he’s very, very quick.
"[He's] someone who enjoys defending, a young defender who is probably better out of possession than in possession that excites me, which excites me.
"This is going to be the toughest in his career so far."
Fun fact... Khusanov (20y 356d) is one of only two players aged under 21 to see their first Champions League start come in a knockout stage match away to Real Madrid, after FC Schalke Kaan Ayhan in March 2014 (19y 128d).
