After their last-minute 3-2 win at the Etihad Stadium last week, Real Madrid host Manchester City in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League tie on Wednesday night.
The visitors were heading towards defeat in Manchester after an Erling Haaland penalty 10 minutes from time put City in control.
The Norwegian opened the scoring too with a deft finish, and his strike meant that City led at half-time for the first time in seven games.
Until Haaland's goal it looked as if the same problems might afflict City, with the visitors coming close to opening the scoring three times in quick succession.
But their attack was firing better than it had in recent times and City looked in control until former City winger Brahim Diaz equalised in the 86th minute moments after being brought on.
Then Jude Bellingham twisted the knife by scoring with virtually the last kick of the game to pilfer a win away from the Premier League champions.
It had been a promising display from City but one that turned into an implosion, and they now face a huge task when they play the second leg in the mythical, revamped Santiago Bernabeu.
