Aaarrggh! lovely exchange between Rose and Son, a square pass and a return ahead into space; Rose powers to the line, looks up, and cuts back just as Kane decides to go front post.

Dembele nashes towards the box and crosses .. or cuts back, it hard to be sure, but he certainly misses everyone in the box and finds Coutinho, who has so much time he takes a touch before unfurling a drive ... that's superbly blocked by the diving Walker-Peters.

It's all Spurs at the moment, but Messi has been warming up. They'd best get on with it.

WHAT'S THIS?! Kane gets away at inside-right, and he into the box, so Lenglet puts a hand on his shoulder and he slips, gets under it, and shmices a shot into another dimension. Surely Spurs are going to score here?

Arthur finds Dembele, who waits for Semedo and feeds him in; Rose does well to stay with him and win the goalkick.

Lovely ball from Alderweireld into the inside-right channel and Kane chases it down,holds it up and slides back for Eriksen, who move onto it and curls hard and low towards the far post, where Cillessen saves. Spurs have started the half well.

Eriksen releases Sissoko down the right and he could drive into the box but looks instead to find Kane, in the middle. But Kane has yet to leave the defenders so he's easily crowded out. Good situation wasted.

Well, Spurs are still in it. With Inter still losing, they go through as things stand, but will have to bank on at least an equaliser. They look capable of doing likewise, but need to get Alli and Kane into the game.

We've seen almost nothing of Dele Alli, but Son is finding space roving behind Kane.

My system cuts out and returns just in time for me to see Rakitic shooting wide from distance.
