Having failed to win their previous two games, the hosts find themselves in a bit of a mess and will likely need a victory here to avoid a calamitous exit out of the tournament. The Cameroon fans are making the majority of the noise in the stands at the moment. They didn't have to travel too far for this game as the two countries are neighbours.

Bassogog, who is back on the pitch by the way, forces another corner for Cameroon.

Collins Fai somehow escapes a booking despite hauling back Ondo. Gabon have a free-kick now and have a chance to pump the ball into the penalty area.

Bassogog comes out the worst in a collision with Aubameyang and Cameroon's wideman has to go off momentarily for treatment.

There are going to be goals in this game, mark my words.

A fantastic run by the lightning quick Bassogog who wins his side a corner to take some of the pressure off Cameroon.

A long ball from defence almost finds Aubameyang but the striker just can't keep it in play.

And now Aubameyang sees his shot from the edge of the area just flash wide. Gabon have started on the front foot and Cameroon are a shambles at the back!

MISS! Oh my, how does Aubameyang put this wide? He is picked out at the back post but sends the ball wide of the post from two or three yards out. Unforgivable.

CHANCE! Ondoa somehow drops the ball from a relatively simple cross but it falls awkwardly for Aubameyang who can't get his shot away and Cameroon clear.

FIVE MINUTES UNTIL KICK-OFF! I've just watched footage of the players making their way into the Stade de l'Amitié and those in Gabon colours appear extremely nervous. In contrast, the Cameroon guys danced their way into the arena!

There is a lot of pressure on star striker Aubameyang and the injury to Lemina means the Dortmund striker will have to work even harder for the team tonight. He is in great form though and having scored eight times in his last 10 matches for his country - including two in this season's Africa Cup of Nations - you'd expect him to be amongst the goalscorers this evening.
