Good evening and welcome to Eurosport’s LIVE text commentary of a crunch Africa Cup of Nations game between Gabon and Cameroon in the final game of Group A. Having failed to win their previous two games, the hosts find themselves in a bit of a mess and will likely need a victory here to avoid a calamitous exit out of the tournament. An extraordinary night to follow!

HALF-TIME! The scores are level at the break and as it stands the hosts Gabon are going out. Aubameyang missed an absolute sitter after a couple of minutes but that's as close as we've come to an opening goal.
45'
Two minutes of added time to play at the end of the first-half.
43'
Gabon's full-back Palun is down now and is being seen to by the medics. It's all very start stop at the moment.
42'
A patient move by Gabon but their attack collapses after a poor cross that is easily cleared at the near post.
41'
Bouanga brings the ball forward for Gabon but is eventually dispossessed by a wonderful N'Koulou. Old-school defending.
39'
Gabon in possession at the moment as they continue to search for an opener. If they fail to qualify to the knock-out stages they'll be the first host nation not to progress from the group stages since 1994 when Tunisia were eliminated.
37'
After a thoroughly entertaining opening 20 minutes, the game has become rather flat. Aubameyang has been very quiet (probably still thinking about THAT miss)...
35'
Sorry about the technical glitch! We're back up and running and fortunately you haven't missed much... except for Ondoa once again dropping the ball from a cross. The referee called a foul this time. The Cameroon goalkeeper has had a bit of a nightmare so far.
Here's that Aubameyang miss....

Horrendous miss from Aubameyang as Gabon star scuffs wide from close range

27'
Gabon defend the corner well but Cameroon regain possession and then Tambe wildly blazes over from distance.
26'
The dangerous Bassogog wins Cameroon a free-kick which will be whipped into the penalty area.
25'
Not too much happening at the moment. Cameroon are keeping possession but not really doing anything with it.
23'
It is early but as it stands Gabon will be exiting the tournament. They need to win now as long as Burkina Faso lead Guinea-Bissau.
22'
Tambe tries to lift the ball over Ovono's head with a well-taken lob but it's narrowly too high from the Cameroon attacker.

21'
Play resumes and Ondoa is fine to continue. Appindangoyé rises highest from the subsequent corner but can't keep his header down.
20'
SAVE! Bouanga overhits his cross but Ondoa misjudges the flight of the ball and has to make a fingertip stop to deny Gabon taking the lead. The goalkeeper fell awkwardly and appears to have hurt his shoulder.
18'
The Cameroon fans are making the majority of the noise in the stands at the moment. They didn't have to travel too far for this game as the two countries are neighbours.
