ENGLAND COMPLETE RECORD WIN IN CARDIFF
England completed their Six Nations campaign with a record 68-14 victory over Wales in Cardiff.
Steve Borthwick’s side moved top of the table with only France able to overturn them for the title later this evening.
The visitors needed a bonus-point win to stand any chance of winning the championship and were in a clinical mood in Cardiff.
There were just two minutes on the clock when skipper Maro Itoje silenced the home crowd by crashing over the opening score.
However, Wales rallied and Blair Murray sprinted clear of the England defence to dot down, only for TMO to rule his effort out for offside.
England were ruthless in the Wales’ 22, with Tom Roebuck stretching their advantage.
Wales rued mistakes in their attack before Ben Thomas gave them a glimmer of hope by pulling a try back in the 30th minute.
However, Borthwick’s side were out of sight with three tries late in the first half courtesy of Tommy Freeman, Chandler Cunningham-South and Will Stuart.
Wales asked questions of their visitors in the second half until, against the run of play, Alex Mitchell scored.
Debutant Henry Pollock completed the win with a brace of tries and Joe Heyes the other.
Thomas scored his second and a Wales consolation on a miserable evening in Cardiff for the hosts.

‘BUILDING TOWARD THIS’ SAYS ITOJE
England caption Itoje says that his side have been "building" towards their record win in Cardiff.
He told BBC Sport: "It was a fantastic effort from the team.
"We've been building towards this. Each game we were showing a different side to us. It’s just good to finish it well.
"You have to be consistent even when results aren’t going your way. Even when they weren’t going our way we carried on being consistent.
"The challenge for our team is to continue to grow and continue to get better.
"It's been an absolute honour and privilege to captain the team, the boys have been absolutely fantastic, all of this is not me but whole collective efforts."

"It’s an unbelievable to not just give that to ourselves, to each other and to the fans as well. It’s what you dream of.

RECORD WIN FOR ENGLAND IN CARDIFF
England were incredible driving forward scoring 10 tries against a vulnerable Wales side.
Steve Borthwick’s side will have to wait and see if they have done enough to beat France to the championship.
Wales on the other hand will finish bottom and collect the wooden spoon once again. The home side’s losing streak continues and they will want to forget this disastrous Six Nations campaign.
