Simon Easterby, Ireland interim head coach: "It doesn’t get any bigger, we've had some really tight battles against them (France) over the last couple of seasons.

"They are a formidable outfit, given an opportunity to get on the front foot then they can be really dangerous.

"We feel that we also have the ability to go and put them under pressure. I guess the game will come down to a few moments, I'm sure."

Shaun Edwards, France defence coach commented on having Romain Ntamack playing: "This is the second time since before the World Cup that we've had our first choice half-backs playing together.

"Roman is also very special for the defence as well, as well as the attack.

"So we're hoping that if that him and Antoine (Dupont) hit it off today, I'm sure they will."

Ireland’s left winger James Lowe has fallen awkwardly during the warm-up and limped back down the tunnel.

The hosts could be forced into changing their line-up before kick-off.

Caelan Doris is set to win his 50th cap for Ireland after recovering in time to start their Six Nations clash with France on Saturday.

The No. 8 missed his side's 27-18 triumph over Wales in the previous round due to a knee injury.

However, Mack Hansen has been ruled out for the match, with Jamie Osborne moving from full-back to the wing in his place.

Despite being beaten by England in the second round of fixtures France could still win the Six Nations.

The visitors have to upset the party in Dublin today and to set-up a clash against Scotland next weekend at Stade de France.

Lowe is remoeved from the squad after suffering an injury during the warm-up and replaced by Nash.
