The England international produced a player-of-the-match performance, as the Saints claimed the trophy for the second time in three years.
"It’s everything I imagined. The week has been amazing," he told TNT Sports.
"Some absolute legends of the club are leaving, and we wanted to give them the right send-off. All that pressure in the build up, but we’ve shown up today. So I’m happy.
"It’s the biggest club game you can play in - PREM final for your boyhood club. It wasn’t just my pressure, the whole team had pressure. But we rose to that really well. Pressure is a privilege, and if you take it in the right way, you can use it to your advantage.
"It’s up there - my boyhood club. I’m so happy. You dream of these moments as a little kid. You dream of these moments. You dream of playing on big stages. And you see tonight what we can do when we’re at our best.
"It’s a dream. Obviously, the season has been so long. I’m just delighted."
When asked how he was going to celebrate, he said: "Everything and anything."

O'Driscoll praises Pollock 'work rate and graft'

Pollock racked up 16 carries and 15 tackles to help the Saints to a third PREM crown, having also become champions in 2014 and 2024.
When asked about Pollock’s larger-than-life personality, Brian O'Driscoll told TNT Sports: ”You can do all of that, because there’s substance behind it all - in work rate and graft.
"Players like that don’t survive in a team environment, in a good culture, if they aren’t delivering in their own role, in doing their job properly, and he does it more than properly.
"The amount of carries... the tackle count was phenomenal. Yes, he’s 21 years of age, and you’re always high octane, and full of energy, but to get through that level of work, and to still have key moments...
"Even though we didn’t see long meandering runs today, we saw hard carries at close quarters. We didn’t see any wild genius, but we saw efficiency, we saw effort, we saw tirelessness.
"When it comes to an arm-wrestle, it’s not about delivering magical moments, it’s about rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck in with your team-mates, and that’s why he was player of the match."
Former Wales skipper Sam Warburton added: "Can I just say, most of us watching TV will never get to meet Henry - I’ve never met Henry - but everyone who has met him says he’s a lovely, down-to-earth guy.
”He obviously loves the big stage, which is great, but he’s got even better these last six weeks. Maturity was going to be the one thing that was going to challenge him. A very mature player, he’s coupled that with a very selfless performance today.”
