TNT Sports partners with Lewis Moody XV Cycle Challenge to support charity ride for My Name’5 Doddie Foundation

TNT Sports has partnered with Lewis Moody XV Cycle Challenge, sponsored by Gallagher, to support the England Rugby World Cup winner as he embarks on a 500-mile charity bike ride, to raise funds and awareness for My Name’5 Doddie Foundation and those affected by Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

‘An inspiration’ – Moody delivers match ball in poignant moment at Twickenham

The seven-day journey will see Moody travel from Newcastle to Twickenham ahead of the Gallagher PREM Final, bringing together some of rugby’s biggest names and communities in support of My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.
Beginning in Newcastle and concluding at Twickenham Stadium on Gallagher PREM Final Day, the ride will pass through Ripon, Oakham School, Leicester, Worcester, Bath and Bracknell, with community events, school activations, rugby club visits and fundraising activities taking place along the route.
Moody will be joined by a host of former teammates and rugby legends throughout the week, including Martin Johnson, Jonny Wilkinson, Phil Vickery, Ben Youngs, TNT Sports pundit Ben Kay, Tom Croft, Geordan Murphy, Kenny Logan and many others from across the rugby community.

The initiative aims to raise £777,777 for My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, helping fund research into MND and supporting efforts to improve the lives of those living with the disease.
The ride forms part of a wider story that TNT Sports is documenting in a forthcoming feature-length documentary on Lewis Moody’s life following his diagnosis with MND. More information will be revealed in the coming days.
