The Rugby Awards 2026: Tom Willis named Gallagher PREM Player of the Season, Olivia Apps wins PWR honour, Noah Caluori also awarded

Saracrens star Tom Willis won the Gallagher PREM Player of the Season, while Olivia Apps and Noah Caluori were also honored at The Rugby Awards 2026 ceremony in London on Wednesday.

The great and the good of the sport were in attendance at Old Billingsgate to recognise another thrilling regular season, with the start of the PREM and PWR play-offs still to come.
The play-offs will get underway on Friday evening when Northampton Saints, who finished top of the PREM table, go head-to-head with Leicester Tigers, live on TNT Sports and HBO Max.
The action will continue on TNT Sports and HBO Max on Saturday when Bath host Exeter Chiefs with a place in the final on the line.
Then, on Sunday, Gloucester-Hartpury will host Trailfinders in the first PWR semi-final before Saracens take on Exeter Chiefs in the second.
France-bound forward Willis was named PREM Player of the Season after impressing with Saracens, while his team-mate Caluori came out on top in the race to claim the Breakthrough Player of the Season prize.
Saracens sensation Caluori also claimed the Gallagher PREM Top Try Scorer after crossing the whitewash a remarkable 18 times during the 2025/26 campaign.

Phil Dowson took home Director of Rugby of the Season in the PREM after guiding Northampton Saints to top spot, while Barney Maddison claimed the PWR equivalent after working wonders with Trailfinders.
Olivia Apps got her reward for a stunning season with Saracens, picking up the PWR Player of the Season award.
Loughborough Lightning's Haineala Lutui was named the PWR Breakthrough Player of the Season.
Shona Campbell won the PWR Try of the Season for Sale Sharks' team try against Bristol Bears in Round 9, while Josh Kemeny was awarded the men's prize for his solo effort against Sharks in Round 7.
Joe Heyes picked up England Men's Player of the Season, with Zoe Harrison taking home the England Women's Player of the Season.
The RPA Blyth Spirit Award went to Lewis Moody for his bravery following his Motor Neurone Disease (MND) diagnosis.
