SCOTLAND'S HOPES HANG IN BALANCE AFTER HEAVY LOSS TO BRAZIL
Brazil sealed top spot in Group C with a commanding 3-0 victory over Scotland, thanks to a Vinicius Junior brace and a second-half strike from Matheus Cunha.
Neymar also made his long-awaited return as the five-time world champions booked their place in the last 32.
Scotland started brightly but their evening unravelled after a costly mistake from Scott McKenna allowed Vinicius to round Angus Gunn and open the scoring.
The Real Madrid forward had another effort ruled out by VAR before grabbing his second of the night just before half-time, punishing another defensive lapse to leave Steve Clarke's side with a mountain to climb.
Brazil never looked troubled after the break. Bruno Guimaraes drove through midfield before teeing up Cunha to slot home the third, while Neymar's introduction was greeted by a huge ovation from the Brazil supporters.
The result sends Brazil through to face the runners-up of Group F in Houston on June 29, while Scotland must now wait to discover whether three points will be enough to progress as one of the tournament's best third-placed teams.

SO CLOSE FOR SCOTLAND
One final chance for Scotland.
McTominay lets fly from 3 yards out, and for a split second it looked destined for the goal.
Had that found the net, the group could have had a very different feel, but Brazil remain comfortably in control.
93
GROUP C AS IT STANDS
Brazil and Morocco are currently locked together at the top of Group C on seven points.
Scotland remain on three, while Haiti are bottom of the group without a point.
As things stand, Brazil and Morocco are heading through, with Scotland left waiting to see whether three points will be enough to keep their FIFA 2026 World Cup hopes alive.

SIX MINUTES ADDED
We'll have six minutes of added time at the end of the second half.
That's largely down to the two hydration breaks in Florida.
With Brazil leading 3-0, they're now just moments away from wrapping up an impressive FIFA 2026 World Cup victory.

GROUP C UPDATE: MOROCCO HAVE FOUR
What a turnaround in Atlanta.
Morocco have scored again and now lead Haiti 4-2 after trailing twice earlier in the evening.
An incredible comeback from the Atlas Lions, who look to be taking a huge step towards the FIFA 2026 World Cup knockout stage.

NEYMAR'S DELIVERY IS ON THE MONEY
Another pinpoint delivery from Neymar.
His corner drops perfectly at the feet of Gabriel inside the six-yard box, but Scotland throw bodies in the way and the defender's effort is blocked before it can trouble Gunn.
Brazil are knocking on the door again.
83
TIERNEY BACK ON HIS FEET
There was a brief scare for Scotland as Tierney stayed down after challenging for the ball.
It looked as though he may have caught the Brazil defender rather than making clean contact with the ball, but after a moment of treatment he's back on his feet and able to continue.
Brazil's dominance is reflected in the numbers too. They have now generated an xG of 3.31 in a commanding display.

HOW HAS HE NOT GOT HIS HAT-TRICK?
Vinicius Junior simply cannot believe it.
Danilo drills a low cross right across the face of goal towards the Brazil forward at the back post, but somehow he can't turn it in from close range.
The hat-trick still eludes him, and Scotland survive... just.

NEYMAR'S DELIVERY CAUSES PROBLEMS
Neymar swings in a dangerous corner that looks destined for the heart of the six-yard box.
It's an inviting delivery, but Gunn reacts well, coming through the crowd to punch the ball clear before any Brazil shirt can get on the end of it.
The Brazil icon is already beginning to pull the strings.
Neymar is BACK!

HYDRATION BREAK
Another hydration break in Florida gives both sets of players a chance to take on some fluids.
For Scotland, it also gives Clarke a moment to gather his thoughts, although the Scotland boss looks short of answers on the touchline right now.
Brazil lead 3-0 and are cruising towards the last 32.
POLL: Will Scotland make it through to the last 32 of the FIFA 2026 World Cup?
