The frustration is starting to grow around Hampden. Scotland started well but there are signs that Slovenia are beginning to take a grip of things. The hosts look vulnerable at the back.

This will be a concern for Strachan. So many times before Scotland have started well then faded away to record a disappointing result. That's exactly what has happened here. Can they avoid the disappointing result this time?

CHANCE FOR GRIFFITHS! Forrest did really well to get to the byline and dig a cross out for Griffiths, but the Celtic striker can't quite direct his header on target. Not too far away.
14'
That was a risky one! Martin played a dodgy backpass back to Gordon, with the Scotland goalkeeper coming to the edge of his box to play a pass with his head. Audacious.
13'
It's an extremely low attendance at Hampden for this one. The enthusiasm has been sucked from the Scottish football public with regards to the national team in recent years.

The tempo from the game seems to have dropped in the last few moments. Slovenia have got a grip of the contest and are now looking to pass the ball around themselves.

Of course, Scotland must win this match if they are to stand any chance of qualifying for the 2018 World Cup. They have suffered a dismal start to the campaign, picking up just four points from four games.
9'
It must be said, this has been an excellent start to the match by Scotland. Slovenia have been pegged deep inside their own half, with the home midfield pressing high up on them.

SCOTLAND HAVE A GOAL CHALKED OFF! Martin rises highest from a corner kick to head home, but he pushed his marker to get there and the referee awards the foul. Right decision.

YELLOW CARD: Bojan Jokic (Slovenia). That's a foolish booking for Jokic to pick up, taking down Forrest when the ball was probably heading out of play.

GREAT TACKLE! Slovenia come flying forward on the counter attack, with Ilicic bursting into the Scotland box. But Robertson tracks him all the way and makes a wonderful sliding challenge.
4'
Now it's Tierney who breaks into the Slovenian penalty area, getting the shot away on goal, but his effort takes a deflection and Oblak makes the diving save. It probably wasn't on target.

MARTIN COMES CLOSE! Scotland almost force an opener within minutes! Snodgrass' corner kick into the area finds Martin, but Oblak gets down low to prevent the ball from finding the net.

First attack of the game comes from Scotland, with Oblak almost caught out by a bouncing ball. Griffiths was very nearly in on the Slovenian goal there. Good start by the hosts.

Strachan has made a number of interesting calls this evening. Tierney is playing at right back, with Mulgrew playing as a centre back. There's no place for Darren Fletcher, with Armstrong in there instead. Griffiths will lead the line.
