A massive result for Scotland and Strachan! The Dark Blues are still in qualification contention, but only just. Martin scored a late winner for the hosts just as all looked lost. There is still so much for them to do if they are to make it to Russia, but this gets them on the right path again.

Scotland have been the better of the two teams over the whole, but there was a sense that they had missed their chance to claim all three points. Then Chris Martin popped up to Fix You (sorry, couldn't resist).

Now it's time for Scotland to hold out with everything they have. This result would give their ailing qualification campaign a shot in the arm, but they must make sure they hold on.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Scotland 1 (88 mins - Chris Martin) Slovenia 0. Scotland have taken the lead with just minutes left to play! It's Martin, the player the home fans booed coming off the bench! He found the net with a low shot via the inside of the left hand post.

We have now reached the stage of the match where Scotland lump the ball into the penalty area in the hope of finding Martin. It's not making for the most of entertaining matches.

Tierney is takin it upon himself to drive at the Slovenian defence, although he's the only one showing the confidence to take on opposition players. It's just not happening for Scotland.

That was terrific from Tierney, driving into the Slovenian penalty area, but the ball is hacked away. There was nobody at the back post to make the most of the cross anyway.

Can Scotland create one last chance to snatch all three points? This time Naismith takes the shot from the best part of 20 yards, but it's a dribbler and Oblak can make the save.

This sub prompts boos from the Hampden crowd, with Martin coming off the bench for the final 10 minutes.

Strachan is about to make his final change of the match here. Martin is down off the bench and is about to come on for Scotland, which means they will lump balls into the box.

FORREST GOT TO THE BYLINE! The Celtic winger did really well to get to the byline, but from a tight angle he couldn't find anyone in a dark blue shirt. Missed opportunity, that.

This is better from Scotland. The introduction of Anya has injected some pace and urgency into the home side, but they are still struggling to create much in the way of chances.

WHAT A CHANCE FOR ANYA! The ball fell to the winger just seconds after being brought off the bench, but he completely scuffed his shot form just inside the box and Oblak makes the save.

Strachan finally makes a change and it's Anya who comes on to replace Snodgrass for the final 15 minutes.
