France clear a cross with Sahko, after an attack on the right. Yarmoklenko shifts the ball for Bezus to cross on the right, and Debuchy concedes a corner with Konoplyanka about to meet it at the far post.

Sakho and Khacheridi have a wee contretemps before the ball comes in, and are both booked. The ball into the box comes to nothing.

Ribery wins a free ick in the centre circle and send a few people forward.

Both sides playing full-blooded but with little patience. Cabaye gives away a foul with a studs up challenge, but the Ukraine player was also in with a late tackle of his own.

Valbuena advances down the right, and just loses control as he evades a challege, losing the ball.

Konoplyanka charges down the left with Debuchy chasing behind, but his final ball is woeful, and France break, but the moves falls apart.

Most of the ball is being played around midfield, with France shading the territory.

Free kick for Ukraine, about forty yards from goal. Rakitskiy takes, and it's well over. A waste of a rare chance.

France win an offside decision and start playing around at the back.

GOAL! France 2-0 Ukraine! Benzema equalises for France. A goal mouth scramble, and Cabaye takes a shot from outside the box. It strikes Valbuena in the box, and falls to Benzema - clearly offside - and he puts it past Pyatov and the linesman doesn't flag.

Valbuena takes a corner, but Pogba heads it well over.

Chance! A great stop from Pyatov after Valbuena sends a shot towards the top corner.

Offside goal! Ribery cuts in from the left and curls in a ball to the back post, and Benzema stoops and puts it away. The referee has his flag up, and Benzema accepts the decision - but it's incorrect. It should be 2-0.

A little bit of afters as Ribery barges over Edmar after a Ukraine foul. France start another attack.

Matuidi gives away a foul in midfield. Bezus gets the ball on the inside left, turns Varane, and Cabaye is across to clear for a corner as Bezus slips on the turf.

Pogba has a little space just outside the box, and larrups a shot over. France are getting closer with every minute. Not long now for the equaliser, maybe.

Valbuena's cross drifts out and Benzema collects. He lays it off to Cabaye's run but his cross is intercepted.

Ribery gets to the byline but his cross is deflected out for a corner.

France are in posession as they look for an equaliser.
