Actually, Mandzyuk was booked in error. Valbuena's shot from distance is out for a corner.

Rakitskiy is booked for his challenge on Valbuena.

Valbuena gives away a free kick on the corner of the box for Ukraine, handling the ball as it droped. Lloris and France find it easy to defend.

The corner is won at the near post by Giroud but sent over. France concede a couple of throw ins on the right as they try to defend.

Valbuena sends it to the back post. Giroud has to score, has to, he's a bad player if he doesn't, and his header is sent behind by Pyatov.

France camped in Ukraine's half. They're not looking for chances as much as they are for keeping the ball. Giroud wins a free kick about 25 yards away from goal.

Sakho does well to head a deep free kick behind or a corner. The corner, after a number of headers, is placed back into the box for Rakitskiy but he's crowded out and France win a throw by the halfway line.

Benzema is replaced by Giroud.

Benzema ulls the ball back for Ribery, who takes two touches to avoid two tackles, and falls away from the ball and sends the ball well over.

Debuchy, on a yellow card, is replaced by Bacary Sagna.

France happy to keep the ball. Debuchy sends in a tempting cross but it's cleared.

France are camped in Ukraine's half. The French crowd are deigning to sing now, and Cabaye is down after a late challenge.

France dominate possession, and Ukraine are starting to get a little desperate with energetic runs forward.

GOAL! France 3-0 Ukraine! Sakho scores with another follow-up. Evra fires in a headed clearance at goal, it saved and out for Valbuena to shoot at goal, but it's back out again and Sakho is on hand to prod it in.

Cabaye has a 40 yard shot that is palmed away by Pyatov for a corner.
