Van de Sanden has started this second half with so much more intensity and urgency. This time she gets the shot away on goal from the edge of the box, but it's straight at Giulani.

Will we see Girelli at some point in this match? Italy are really missing her presence in the centre of the pitch. She is on the bench, though. Just wasn't fit enough to start the game.

Right across the face! What a ball that was from Van Lunteren who fizzed a ball right across the six yard box, but the delivery evaded everyone in the middle. Miedema should have finished.

She had so much space! Things suddenly open up for Netherlands in the Italian penalty area, but Groenen's shot is charged down by Gama when she should have played it to Miedema.

Martens forces the save! The control on the chest from the cross was good, but the low volley was saved by Giulani in the Italian goal. This is higher tempo stuff from the Netherlands.

Miedema header! Van de Sanden plays a lovely clipped cross into the penalty area, but the ball was just a little too high for Miedema to get over and she flicks her header well wide of the target.
