IRRESISTABLE FORCE BARCA BLOW AWAY CHELSEA
Women's Champions League top goalscorer Claudia Pina netted twice in a convincing 4-1 victory over Chelsea, on a sobering evening for Sonia Bompastor's side.
Ewa Pajor fired the hosts in front after being played through on goal by two-time Ballon d'Or winner Alexia Putellas.
Putellas had already made headlines for the wrong reasons in the 12th minute when her penalty was saved by Hannah Hampton's trailing legs, but it proved to be a false dawn for the hosts.
The match - along with the tie - remained in the balance at the break, as Chelsea ended the first half strongly, with Pina playing a telling role in Barca taking a strangelhold of this contest.
Pina was introduced in the 66th minute and took a mere four minutes to make an impact, prodding home Ona Battle's cross.
Sandy Baltimore gave Chelsea something to hold onto going into next Sunday's second leg with a fine solo finish, before Irene Paredes restored Barca's two-goal finish with an excellent header from Pina's corner.
Pina wrapped up the scoring with a well-executed finish in the 90th minute, leaving Chelsea with a huge task ahead.
We go again at Stamford Bridge next week!

WILLIAMS DOUBTING CHELSEA'S COMEBACK CHANCES
Fara Williams is highly sceptical of Chelsea's hopes of turning around a 4-1 deficit next weekend.
She told TNT Sports: "The way this game unfolded, I don't think Chelsea have any chance of turning this around.
"Is it out of reach? I think so, but who knows what this Chelsea team can do?"
