PEDRO NETO SHOWING HIS CLASS
Really is a handful with ball at his feet. Excellent little step-over before racing to the byline, but the cross is high and lands on top of the Spain net. Still 1-1.

NETO WITH THE SUPPLY WORK FOR MENDES GOAL
Was a fair old VAR check after the Mendes finish for an offside against Ronaldo, but it was miles away from the key phase of the goal. And the goal rightly stands. More goals you suspect here in this one.

SPAIN SO CLOSE TO REGAINING THE LEAD
Nico Williams just can't get the ball under control as he ends up knocking the finish wide with Portugal goalkeeper Diogo Costa coming off his line. Looks like space in that Portuguese defence.

Nuno Mendes smashes the ball low and hard into the corner of the net with Spain standing off. His first goal for his country, and this final is level again in Munich. What a brilliant finish.

SPAIN SEEK A QUICKFIRE SECOND GOAL
Nico Williams this time on the charge for Spain. Looks like he is going to get a shot away, but Rúben Dias does superbly well to make the tackle and block when he prepared to pull the trigger.

GOAL! (ZUBIMENDI) SPAIN 1-0 PORTUGAL
Martín Zubimendi sees the loose ball break to him a few yards out and he slams the finish high into the net after a lovely break up the park saw Zubimendi send Yamal clear out wide. Poor goal for Portugal to lose, but can't say it wasn't coming. Spain lead 1-0.

SPAIN STARTING TO WARM TO THE OCCASION
This time it is Nico Williams who shows off his considerable wing skills as he goes for goal himself, but sends the finish crashing just over the Portugal bar. Warning signs for the men in red.

SPANISH FANS EXPECT IN MUNICH TONIGHT
And why not when you have so much energy and creativity in your national team.

THIS FINAL YET TO CATCH FIRE
Both teams prodding and jabbing at the moment without a cutting edge. Glorious chance for Pedri, but he sends the shot spinning wide from the Nico Williams cutback. Best move of the match for Spain.

SUPERB PLAY BY YAMAL OUT WIDE
Mendes does well to win the ball, but then loses it back to Yamal before Bruno chops him down. Free-kick just outside the Portugal box. But Yamal drags it well over the bar.

LIFE BEGINS AT 40 FOR CRISTIANO RONALDO
Plenty of life left yet in the iconic Portugal captain with another World Cup just around the corner next year. Meanwhile, Nico Williams earns Spain's first corner after a decent run. But Portugal clear the Yamal delivery after a Pedri ball.

SPAIN LOOKING TO GET THE PASSING GAME GOING
Yellow shirts work the ball from side to side. Portugal content to keep their shape before Fabian Ruiz ships a pass straight out of play. Not an electric start to the night by the defending champions so far.

PORTUGAL WIN THE FIRST CORNER OF THE NIGHT
Chance drops to João Neves from the Bruno Fernandes/Silva short corner, but he smashes the finish into the ground and wide of goal. Spain appeal in vain for a free-kick that never came. What a chance that was for Portugal.

LET YOUR OPPONENT KNOW YOU ARE THERE..
Early days in this match, but Robin Le Normand isn't hanging around as he is penalised for a late reducer on Ronaldo. Just a quick word in his ear from the Swiss referee Sandro Scharer. And on we go.

RONALDO PRAISE FOR MANAGER ROBERTO MARTINEZ
"If a coach reaches the final, it is because he has done an excellent job," said the Portugal captain.
"Questioning someone who has a spectacular record for Portugal makes me confused, but I understand. If a coach gets to the final and he is questioned, imagine the others.
"There has been a bit of a lack of respect in this regard. Talking about other coaches is a lack of sense, but the coach has done an extraordinary job."
